Harry Kane is named as captain for the 2 internationals. Unfortunately, it's not going to stop Henderson from being selected. If you judge a team by its spine, up until Harry Kane we are in trouble.......

    Hart

    Stones/Cahill/Jones/Smalling

    Dier/Henderson/Livermore

    ........serious ****ing trouble.

I remember him well. Henderson is a truly shocking footballer though, name me one top international side he'd get into, let alone captain.

Hart should be nowhere near that team.

Rashford, Kane and Sterling will be a good front three on current form.

    That CM is utterly depressing.

I want England to do well because I want the Spurs lads to do well...quite simple for me really.

    This is the point.

    It's peoples expectations...as an
International outfit...this nation is not a top International football nation..the sooner we realise this...the sooner people can support them realistically, if at all.

I can honestly say, even if England were smashing every tournament going, I would still have zero interest.
I watch World Cups because I like watching football, but I don't follow England at all, never have done really.

Don't see the point really. Beat a load of pub teams to qualify, then come up short against decent opposition or Iceland.

Nor me really but watching the Spurs players does interest me. No doubt not many people are interested in the National set up..however, every ****er will have something to say if they fail....and it will all be because of Spurs!

Won't be because of Spurs mate, the squad in general isn't good enough.

From what I can see, looks like Spurs are the only PL team contributing any decent players to the England set up.
At least if the team posted above is anything to go by.

They're top 20 still. He's nowhere near that standard, he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team. He's one of those players you see playing for Ireland because he had a pikey grandpa.

    England win 1-0 and qualify.

Sweaties win too and will get a play off spot if they can win in Slovenia.

The last decent, competitive England team was Italia 1990. Since then most have been varying degrees of ****e.
