    Nobody posted one yet? Probably not that much interest, given the timing.
    Thoughts on the England squad?

    Five centre-backs plus Dier for games against Slovenia and Lithuania? Four keepers?
    Players off-form or not playing very often, plus too many similar ones, for me.
    Anyone miss out who should be in there?

    My England squad on current form/injury/suspension;

    Goalkeepers
    Butland - Starting
    Foster - Bench
    Forster - Reserve

    Defence
    Walker - Starting
    Stones - Starting
    Jones - Starting
    Bertrand - Starting
    Maguire - Bench
    Dier - Bench

    Midfield
    Henderson (C) - Starting

    Forwards
    Kane - Starting
    Rashford - Starting



    That's about it. They're the only players I think genuinely deserve to be in the current squad based on their performances for their clubs this season. Obviously players like Lallana, Alli and Vardy would be in there but they're either injured or suspended.

    Our midfield is nothing short of an embarrassment.

    I don't think that people would be too happy if Southgate did this, though! <laugh>
    Other options might not be ideal, by any means, but at least fill out the squad.

    Who are England playing?

    Is it a qualifier or a friendly? Either way I hope they lose, then I wont have to suffer tons of faux nationalist ****s hanging up flapping St George flags every where during the tournament for the first 2 weeks before England scrape through the group and are knocked out by a second rate team like Poland or Denmark

    All the momentum and atmosphere is killed and your immersion quickly halted while you have to watch a bunch of ******s on TV singing "Go Compaaaare, Go Compaaaare!"
