Ayrad in the county?!? Ayrad in a handicap?!? Ayrad off 104?!? The 4.10 at Salisbury looks his for the taking off this perch and against these rivals.

The betting boots and the punting pants are on this morning, crew.

Looks like Fayonagh will have her first start over hurdles at Fairyhouse on Saturday. The National Hunt season is starting to slowly kick into gear <ok>

The question of the day, troops, must be does race sponsorship work??? Does seeing a race sponsors name make you want to go sample their goods or services??? I guess the answer will be provided by how many members complete an application form following the running of the 2.30 at Salisbury.

Nope, never has done and never will. Same goes for most forms of advertising, waste of money IMHO <ok>

Chuck out bookmakers, the only way the UK and Ireland will compete with the prize money on offer in French, Australian, Hong Kong, etc., horseracing? It will never happen, regrettably, as this is what punters want. How owners put up with the pathetic prize money on offer for run-of-the-mill racing is beyond comprehension. Real enthusiasts! Advertising and sponsorships do not make up for the money lost to horseracing in general because of bookmakers. I know that bookies do operate in Australia, but am not sure how it works, but there does seem to be a strict control on them?

I just hate all forms of advertising Swanny. Try and watch a film on a channel with ad breaks and your hour-and-three-quarters film becomes a two and a half hour vigil. Ghastly.

Agree, if one doesn't need to go for a jimmy-widdle or make a pot of tea, then best to whack the mute button? :emoticon-0100-smile
Say, a possible solution if you're not in a hurry to watch a film is, of course, to record it and when hit the FF button when the ads appear. God, I'm a genius for 'original' ideas; am I hell! <laugh>

(Got to go shopping, wife has no Bock for it today). :emoticon-0101-sadsm

**** that, if we went to a tote system like other countries I'd stop betting on horses and stop going to the races as well. I want to know what price I'm getting on a horse and haven't used the tote since 2003 when at Ascot I put a bet on a horse showing 18 on the tote 30 seconds before the race started, it won and got paid at 12 absolute joke, couldn't give a **** about prize money and anyway there are probably too many horses in training anyway.

I know sb has stuck a word in for one in the 410 but I can't ignore storm rock and won't win bet
In the last there's another that looks way to big at 25s onorina ew
Over at Kempton treacherous I can't believe the difference between the odds today and yesterday , not sure if I would back it today but was more than willing yesterday evening.
810 Josephine looks a lovely booking on dolphin village at 50s ew

UC & SBC both have one in the 4 runner 4:10 and I cannot understand either selection.
Storm Rock is 8lbs wrong at the weights in this handicap. You could argue that Hollie Doyles claim lessens that by 3lbs but I dont really see that as a positive.
Ayrad is a 6yo who this season has looked in decline. He has to give 16lbs to an improving 3yo and I just cannot see him managing that.

The step up to 1of will suit ALMOREB admirably and I think he will hose up.

Now if someone wants to tip Master Carpenter we have ourselves a winner!

I also like SOCIETY LADY this evening and BLACK SAM BELLA in the first.

Almorab has not been tested enough for me in heavy conditions especially carrying your money :emoticon-0140-rofl:
The odds are shocking to for the gamble
I did take 7s last night on storm and the return to a right handed sharp track could bring back some form
