Difficult one that. There's two things you might try. And the third is the real last resort. Are they flat heads or Phillips? If flat head you've a chance of hammering your screwdriver into the slot and getting a bite into it. If it's a Phillips head I'd say go with a bigger screwdriver and pound it in. If that's not on then as you say you are going to replace the hinges then one option is to get a dremmel with a saw blade and cut yourself a new slot right into the screw and the hinge and use that with a big screwdriver yo crack the thing out. The final option isn't great with paint but... If you have access to a fine tipped blow torch or even a hot air tool for wires you might just get the paint out of the screw head, bit risky though. The I'd go rough and dirty with the dremmel and save yourself a lot of effort

Oooh...watching the look back stuff on only fools and horses and bit in it threw me back. Anyone else remember actually being excited about getting the Christmas editions of the Radio and TV Times? Then you literally mapped out a week of TV watching on 4 channels lol.....
No. In the modern world, you download what you want to watch rather than working around what's on TV!
Stream it again. But seriously in saying no hard drive I should say a tiny hard drive for buffer. Eg. Sky advertise their sky q box with 6 recording shows and watch a seventh and then....1 terabyte his or something. My smart tv has Netflix, a tiny solid state hard drive etc. The concept of recording and downloading is now old. Recording is vhs.... downloading was the first sky plus etc. Any pc. Streaming kills the lot. Someone else holds the files. I stream. That's how companies want us to work. Is it better or worse? We will have to wait and see how they want to charge us.
Technically No Hhd is a mechanical device with motor etc. Most laptops now have ssd or solid state drive as do smart tvs. So technically you need ram and an ssd.
Still a device for holding storage you buffoon lol. Ram is also volatile and only holds memory while still has power to it.
Netflix is superb tbf there's good content and the pricing is really good. Think I pay £8.99 and can use my account on 4 different screens I can live with that. I'd love to get rid of Sky but I need broadband and Mrs luv wants a landline and then I want to watch football they also stop you from recording on the box if you cancel.
yeah i heard. Not sure how bad shoxbox is for tracking and i don't think theres a giant usage of it (its only availabe on android) so its not like a PC downloading thing
