The only hope we have is Jose reverting back to his old park the bus ways. Playing a defensive game and putting lots of his players behind the ball to get a draw. We could have a really tough time if he plays a very attacking game. I cannot see our defence and GK shutting out Lukaku and Co. A draw would be a good result for us.
Yeah, that's deffo a point that if he sees a tough game he can be negative. But on the break they can just four real weaknesses
We will see. They've not been tested at all this season. I think they could be got at. They don't have to find our soft belly though...we'll probably paint a f#cking great target on it
Everton found loads of gaps against them, and they have absolutely no pace in their starting XI. Salah, Mane, Firmino & Coutinho would've created havoc against them.
They are focused on big and tall but no pace? Lukaku and Rashford?? I know what you mean but I think they are set up to go long and wide with these guys. Perfect to exploit the Moreno lovren axis of evil. They have a problem as lb and lb too. If salah gets runs at those guys (Jones and young) I hope the crowd help the ref get the cards out.
They are certainly not invincible. I am not sure that they have no pace. Lukaku Martial and Rashford are not that slow. But for me the key advantage they have over many other teams is Degea. The opposing team has to work very hard to even score one goal even they pierce that defence. Looking at the stats (and yes they do often lie) the mancs faced 9 shots on target before they concede one goal. Our GK concede one shot on target and saves one. Lesson: if we have similar shots on goal we are in trouble. I'm not sure what the best tactics would be but Salah 's running on the counter could be key. And taking the chances that will present.
I just want a game where the fab four (cringe name ) are all on form. Very few teams can deal with those 4 players when they click. Problem is our profligacy is killing us. Irrespective of the fact that our opponents have scored a goal or two against us we have been very guilty of missing high quality chances in almost every game. Let's hope this is the game when our attack comes through and we can celebrate a win.
Apart from when we play teams that attack us we win and when we play teams that sit back and defend we don’t... of united try to come attack us then it’ll suit us far more than a typical Jose performance of sit back and try sneak a goal from a set piece.
I think they will come and attack us. The only fear is if we don't score first and they do we are ****ed. That's when they will park the bus to defend the lead they have.
Just think this will be our usual frustrating kind of game as we've been seeing this season, both teams will have plenty of chances. You know the drill

B) lfc best players travel long distances We've had the early game every time this season after internations. This is the third. Seriously dodgy. Not only that but imo both the viewing fans on tv and match going are not served by it. I believe it's purely for Asian tv.
