Just seen ISIS have claimed he was a member of theirs anyhow. Regardless of definition that would make it a terrorist incident.
Yeah but it also looks like they're clutching a little bit to re-publicise themselves - be interesting to see how it pans out - that definition above is from Nevada law by the way - and you know how it can be completely different from state to state! (Probably better than we do over here in the UK)
Don't suppose that the poor victim care too much whether it's terror related or any other 'ism'. According to News reports, Nevada has some of the most relaxed Gun Laws in The US of A. I expect that the majority of the citizens of the Great State of Nevada will see no connection between that statement and this tragedy. President Trump clearly didn't in his otherwise moving speech from The White House.
I imagine that his rectum is full of the same stuff as his mouth usually is. Not this time though. Instead of the usual imbecilic tweets he managed an appropriate, Statesman-like statement. I can only presume that he has employed a new speech writer OR has started to take notice of the ones he has. Whatever, credit where it's due, he did it well. On last nights BBC News the reporter pointed out that this speech was like the ones other Presidents have had to give so many times before him. With one exception though. The rest called upon Congress to review the Gun Control Laws. Not this President.
I thought terrorism was people who committed atrocities for their cause, or if it was religious or politically motivated. Anders Brevik, he had a cause so definitely a terrorist. I don't believe anything has come out yet about this latest mass murderer that classifies him as a terrorist but that could yet change. To me he's just committed mass murder in his suicide mission.

A film by the same name is about a middle aged professional man, sick and tired of society and the way it's molding the world around him, so he carries out mass murder with semi automatic weapons. Good film too. Satirical black comedy.
