Good Morning Everyone Pontus Jansson will not join up with the Sweden national squad during the international break. The 26-year-old will stay in Leeds to recover from a shoulder injury sustained when Phillips sent him flying during Sunday's game at Hillsborough Additionally Ronaldo Vieira will not be available for England’s Under-20s. The midfielder will instead work with the Leeds United medical staff after picking up a minor knee injury. Are we actually doing that badly? please log in to view this image Leeds United supporters slammed Gaetano Berardi on Twitter after his performance in the 3-0 loss at Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Sunday. Deserved or not? please log in to view this image Simon Gardner @simamuofficial Replying to @simamuofficial When Berardi bleeds it's because he's dared to go across the halfway line and got a nosebleed as a result #lufc please log in to view this image Simon Gardner @simamuofficial Berardi is biggest fraud at club. Good one on one defender and squad player, but far too average a footballer to be a starter #lufc please log in to view this image Joe @JoeJames1996 First time I have thought Berardi has looked less than solid in a while was cardiff, today he has been cut apart like butter #lufc please log in to view this image phill atack @phillatack Berardi found out big time #LUFC please log in to view this image AJ Parsons @ajeparsons12 Not sure anyone is playing well but berardi, phillips and roofe shocking. I would have preffered all our International players being kept back so that they can learn their fkg jobs. Our fans are the best their is and also we have plenty who would never be happy. Berardi has been an ever present, a fighter, a warrier and epitomises commitment. Yes being a defender any mistake is highlighted but when a defencive team breaks all 4 look bad A week now of no footy, maybe its time that footy should carry on as squads are big enough to cover for those on call ups
Morning all... Guy on Twitter saying Green should never have left, would like to see his Tweets after Greens opening game against West Ham. Ones slamming Berardi, bet they slammed Wood when he started his career here too and then probably slammed him for wanting out. Let's also remember Berardi is a RB who "can" play LB when required. It's the finger pointing culture, we all need someone to blame and we all have a different opinion. Rugby Union carries on through Internationals but that's why they have the playoffs, Football has play offs but not for the same reason. I'm not sure where I stand on it to be honest. I'm edging towards agreeing with the break. Again, too much money involved.
On another note.... This isn't a "want Thomas out" post as I'm hoping he gets it right and I'm edging towards a director of football not working scenario although again Alioski and Saiz have shown us what they can do on a good day but... I'm wondering if Thomas has created a rod for his own back? He wins over the board at his interview playing back footage of what we did wrong and how we could improve then tactically he gets done over by journeyman Warnock and then a couple of coaches who's jobs were on the line. Wins Bolton, Burton, Sunderland, Birmingham the bottom four still...
Ristac makes some valid points and think we will see if the board was right in the next week or so, my view is that the Sporting Director and his team have unearthed some gems and Tommy has to mold them into a team and integrate them with players who were here last season. On the whole I beleiev integration is great, team spirit is ace as long as they can pick themselves up after 2 defeats. Tommy's team we dont know yet due to injuries and suspensions. tactics is another area we are unsure about although many of his changes have worked great, its the tactics on the field that worry as we need to be able to adapt and change when our tactics have been countered. Monk or Tommy? Tommy for me as so far he is ahead of Monk on a like for like basis last season. We are more attacking, the fans love it and back in huge numbers, We have a much better squad with 2 strong teams for a change Worries about Tommy for me are in his handling of Grot, Cibicki, Klich, Viera, CBJ, Sacko. His handling of Lassoga game before last, the O'Kane, Phillips, Viera, Klich combination
Everybody is being done over by Warnock love him or loath him he is the best there is at this level knows the league inside out, Look what he done at Rotherham no other manager could have achieved that. and now he is doing it again with Cardiff.
TBH Warnock has spent so long in this league he should know it inside out. He's a old bugger who spent years managing every club in Division 1/Championship
Part of the reason there are only six posts on here at 10.30 is that anyone pointing out the problems that clearly exist are hounded for expressing an opinion. But that wont stop me. So sorry to the blubbing happy clappies. The reason our results have tailed off to the point of being relegation form are three fold. 1. We have a Hockaday in charge of the team. One pattern of play and no plan B and no idea about football at anything above semi pro level. he needs sacking and the sooner the better. 2. The director of football role might be fine if shopping at the top table. Even then I doubt it. 3. The players Orta and Rad have brought in much like Cellinos are not good enough, not robust enough and don't give a **** about the shirt. This division is usually won by fighters and battlers not pretty boys that go to ground when caught by a breeze.
you pay your dosh you go to the games you see first hand whats happening you above many are entitled to give your full honest opinion Not like some who don't go to games and cant see the wood through the trees and wouldn't know a good player from a bad one, especially when it comes to goalkeepers
Proud member of the happy clappies Prefer that to making myself ill with bile poison, or should that be with fishermans shoulder
Everyone was a happy clappy with the start we had, but it didn't take long for people to return to type after 3 blips...I don't know what has gone wrong and I don't know how to solve it. But let's give the team and management a few more games before attacking them.
