    Going to sound like a dick probably but that's not an enjoyable voice to listen to, sounds like Mike Meyers doing a piss take of someone. Classic song but it would have sounded a lot better coming from Springsteen say.

    I know he's a legend in the business and I don't doubt it's deserved. I just don't enjoy his voice, at least on that one song.

    Jeff Lynne, with the curly hair mop from ELO jointly wrote Free Falling with Tom Petty for his first solo album.

    One of the greats for me.

    Got a proper soft spot for them. They're one of the reasons I like to put Smooth on every now and again, they always got lots of play time.

    Yeah definitely. I did some recording in a studio where they did part of ELO 2 back in the day - he played some of the out-takes and bits of "unreleased" stuff - They were amazing - the harmonies in that band were phenomenal
