Sadly it was our only option to get to Budapest from Bristol! Apart from our outward flight being delayed by an hour, no problems so far. Flying back later today, hopefully. Wish us luck!
Hope you had a great time. Am off shortly to Rome....strangely have never been through Heathrow before. Have a good journey.
Yep they are but the timings all wrong for our flights Also Ryan Air cost £70 for two of us to go Athens to Santorini - the SeaCat would have cost £70 each. Unfortunately as I left it late the return leg is Olympic Airways to Athens at...£280 for both. Ouch! Again the Ferry Times way out and would mean losing a day
Well I am in Departures at Budapest Airport with no sign of our Ryan Air flight being cancelled. See you all later, otherwise I may be gone some time...
Am going to Budapest in March, my hotel is next to the Danube facing Margaret Island, will have to visit if I get time. Edit. I'm supposed to be flying with Ryan Air so plans may change
The best ! Like LTL I went for the F1 race years ago . Loved the city been back 3 times . Least said about the race / organisation the better , but it in the crooked bad old days . They sold more grandstand tickets than they had seats .....I know .....
Another shooting......this time Vegas http://news.sky.com/story/police-say-active-shooter-on-las-vegas-strip-11064144
It doesn't sound like an Islamist attack (64-year old white? local) therefore Trump will blame the Democrats... Had a lovely meal in the Mandalay Bay hotel 12 years ago followed by Mamma Mia - good memories have now been overshadowed by this tragedy
Not at all, entertainment is entertainment. Mind you, for the Brits and Aussies in the audience one of the funniest things was when one of the 'dads' gave up on his (atrocious) Australian accent and reverted back to American. Don't think the Americans in the audience noticed but we did as did the Australian couple behind us who were very relieved when he stopped butchering the accent
So it’s a terror attack, as it causes terror. He had his own motives, unknown at this time, but it’s no different to any typical attack.
I bet he won't be called a terrorist, though. So many Americans - including Trump - believe that only Muslims are terrorists.
The lack of the media calling this a terrorist attack is disgusting. So many media calling him a quiet, nice guy that loved country music. **** that **** RIP to the victims
My sympathy goes to the victims, as per usual. But how many times does the USA demonstrate that their citizens are not fit to own firearms.? I'm sure every informed person in the world, outside of the USA, knows how they could stop these shootings. It's almost pointless saying it one more time. The thing that gets me is, how many ordinary people have to die in the USA before they see the solution themselves.?
