He never mentions the midfield which is non-existent, once the opposition get the ball they are straight through to the centre backs who have no protection at all.
And the Poool are nowhere near the firepower of 2013-14. They won't be scoring two goals for every one they concede.
I know Sissoko has improved beyond all recognition when compared to last season and whilst Deli hasn't made a decent start and the DoF is still injured, Pep G has to realise that we have other players beyond Sissoko. Take Davies, Big Dave, Jan and Toby, Hugo or even Kane. We are more than just a big fast Frenchman.
None of the boot to head "challenges" this season are half as bad as what was done to Walker last season - which didn't even warrant a yellow card. I'm not sure it was even mentioned on MOTD. please log in to view this image
A bit rich given he's in charge of the Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan team...
Here is my question for a hack brave enough to put it ... So Pep, given that it makes you sad that there can be more focus on big game signings than promoting youth, and you question paying 50m for a striker when you have one waiting in the youth team ... How do you feel about the fact that Spurs have avoided all of the above courtesy of Harry Kane ?? < https://www.not606.com/threads/rival-watch.112743/page-2236#post-11004232 >
SpursNews @SpursNews1961 Replying to @AlasdairGold Do you think any reporter has the stones to ask Pep if he feels he built his reputation as manager with "that Messi team" ? 1:17 PM - Oct 2, 2017 Indeed.
Excellent bit on W1A last night where the BBC's new subtitling software is malfunctioning, didn't get to read all of the joke subtitles but one of them was having Mexico as Max Sicko.
Leicester's appeal over Adrien Silva has been rejected: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41498052 That's an expensive 14 seconds.
