Very, don't recall i've seen a more blatant foul and then to give a throw in. Even if the ref didn't see him knock it out with his hands it was impossible to miss him just running across and clattering him from about waste high. Twat.

Shocking decision, any outfield player assaulting another in that fashion would be off, no question, with keeper sweepers all the rage more incidents like this will follow, and it will be interesting to see how refs react to it . The pundits on match of the day called it as a yellow card, not a red, so there you go.

I was at the match and this incident was a blatant handball followed by cleaning out Watmore by the touch line, it was a red card offence for the handball and at least a yellow for the tackle on Duncan, we end up with having one of our players booked and get awarded a throw in, this referee was totally inept throughout the whole game, Vaughan was fouled continually and Watmore could have had two penalties.
But apart from all that I thought the Referee was excellent (not)<laugh>

This is true, every word. Watmore beat him to the ball and as he knocked it passed him, the keeper saved it as though it was in his box. Ref was a disgrace.

Certainly showed we are much more capable then most think, including many of our own fans. I feel robbed personally. For the state of that refereeing. Take away the incidents though and I think a draw was a fair result. Good player Hugill isn't he? Daniel Johnson too, very impressed. First time at deepdale, strange little ground in design isn't? Quite unique.

Can tell he's a way off yet. Off the ball he didn't press like he normally does and you can tell that was precaution, but on the ball seemed his old self. Wasn't afraid to put his foot on the ball and play the correct pass, skinned every single defender for the numerous through balls he had. Good to have him back.

Keeper was last man and it was outside the box. It was intentional hand ball and a blatant foul/ Straight red all day long. EFL should giving that Keeper a call with nice suspension I would have thought. Only helps other teams though, no good to us.

    Ground is based on Sampdoria/Genoa
Aye we have some decent players and we are a very young side, two more experienced last out long term but under the radar at the moment

Just googled it, aye, very similar. I'd call theirs fully closed though while yours is 4 separate stands but very similar. I like theirs is red brick. Not enought red brick stadiums about.

As an individual incident it's as bad as it gets but honestly some of the refereeing was diabolical. The match that stands out for me was:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38100719

and I particularly loved the calm way Benitez said:

"It's very difficult to understand what happened, we can complain about the penalty not given, the goal offside, the [Forest] penalty given and the two red cards."

Just to clarify. We had a good goal incorrectly ruled offside, Shelvey got sent off when he and Lansbury kicked each other (had happened a few times in the match and both should have seen red), then Dummett wins the ball in the box and gets a red card and penalty against us. If I recall correctly there was another penalty given against us that match for a foul that occurred outside the area. I usually try to give the ref's the benefit of the doubt but it was hard to believe he hadn't placed a bet!

I haven't seen them but I know our two penalty shouts were clearcut. How? Well , football on 5 never even mentioned them let alone showed them , because if they had , they'd have had to admit safc were wronged
