There's so many to choose from, But I'm going to go for Nemanja Matic or Romelu Lukaku, They've been superb for us.
For us it's Matic, he's perfect for United. Outside of United I'd say Mo Salah for the bin dippers looks a really good signing.
The problem with a Matth thread is the inevitable insular bias ... Matic is hardly surprising anyone and Lukaku is yet to test himself against the best defences ... From a neitral perspective Gross at Brighton and Richarlison at Watford ... plus tthe bigger money Morata and Lacazette ... Man City's full backs have been excellent and you have to feel for Mendy ... similarly Sanchez and Aurier at Spurs ...
@Matth_2014 thinks that the only games played are ones where United are involved. The other scores are just made up by sports writers to make it entertaining. They never really happened.
And he doesn't really understand what he is watching when he watches them. It's all "look at the pretty men run with the ball mummy"
Walker's hardly a surprise though, is he? He's been pretty much the same player that they spent a load of money on. He knows the league very well and he's playing in a similarly high line as he has been for years at Spurs. Sanchez has slotted in well, but he's only played a handful of games. Aurier's showed promise, but he's also been sent off and goes to ground too much. Could turn out great, but I wouldn't say that he's been outstanding, so far. Wood's fitted in well at Burnley. Gets the work ethic and he's a goal threat. Morata's been good for Chelsea, barring his injury ended game on the weekend. Oxlade-Chamberlain's been great for Liverpool, too...
I love how he's luring everyone into a false sense of security... Just you wait, round 39 of the league season he is going to be immense and take everyone by surprise.
Musa got 2 against Barcelona ... if Lukaku secures the points for United in a game against title rivals it will go a long way to silencing the doubters
