what an absolute ****e excuse of a "sport".

not only can it take days to find out who the winner is, the majority of the time you're just standing there looking like like a spare one at a wedding, day-dreaming and doing **** all. whilst dressed in poncey whites.

also, what sort of sport has a "lunch" and "tea" break <laugh>

full of upper-class toss-pots who were too petrified to take part in a contact sport at school <diva>

It's for public schoolboys who were either not good enough or too afraid to play rugby.

I've seen far more broken faces (and caused a couple) from a cricket ball than I've ever seen from rugby and football.

Frankly it's a sign of a limited mind that some people can not appreciate all forms of sporting contest.

I don't really watch cricket, but I can see why some people do. It seems a very complex and engaging sport.

    How is cricket complex?

It's dully simple hence the need for the commentators to blether bullshit to make it sound more complex than it really is. Same goes for baseball.

Cricket is the only sport I know where being able to stand in a field for hours doing nothing is proficuous.

Then a rock hard ball comes flying at you at 100mph and your expected to catch it!

If you play it a decent level you'd realise how hard the game is <ok>

It is as complex as the commentators say, in fact most of them are **** and miss a lot of the detail, dumbing it down for the idiots to understand as well.

As a game it is far more complicated than chess and as a precision sport it requires far more accuracy than snooker or baseball. Bowlers who just try to ball as fast as possible or batsmen who try to hit every ball don't make it village reserve level and every player is now required to be a good fielder at any decent level.

If you don't like it or understand it that's fine, we'll just agree that you're an idiot and move on :)

I don't fall for your baloney about the complexities of cricket so save me the pseudo-intellectual attempts and dated witzelsucht-style humour.
