Too little too late. Utterly frustrating again after feeling so positive last week. Yeah Stoke away and all that, but we should of got something. If they don't get a player or two in for Jan, I'll be disappointed.

Ok yes, I agree. MP2 is not getting the most out of our more capable players.

We look so threatening, so dangerous when we play with urgency and pace, high pressing, winning the ball back, getting it forward quickly.


The problem is we only do that when we're losing with 5 mins to go

 

Already no longer give a **** about this season. Same problems but still do **** all about it. Going to be a long , cold pointless winter coming our way...

The players showed good heart and determination for the last few mins. Other than that that was pretty dire

 

He made that signing though...

I know it’s speculation, but he’s obviously got a massive ego. Like mentioned earlier, happy to take the praise but disappears when any negativity appears.

 

Comes a time when you see the team has played like this under two managers, that you have to think it may not be the managers fault.

 

What were your expectations this season?

 

Could have played another 30 minutes and still not scored.

That's been a theme for about a year now though. It's why I wasn't too disappointed when Watford took the lead the other week. I half hoped it would wake us up.

Sadly though, it still required the clock to turn to about 85 mins, too.

Good thing we had such an easy start to the season on paper...

 

Can I just say, credit there to Mike Jones for actually playing the correct amount of injury time.

 

There we have it. Another defeat and another **** afternoon. I know we scored but same old story of not taking our chances.

Quite frankly im pretty done with this crap.

I'm usually positive, as you would see on the next 6 games thread but I just can't get excited for matches any more.
I will always support saints but it's so tiring to know that we are going to struggle to score even one goal.
Everything is so pedestrian. The attacking players are just not doing well enough.
We have a really decent squad but it's being utilised in all the wrong ways.
I usually support the board but the lack of an attacking signing is quite frankly criminal.

Two weeks time I'm going to the Newcastle game and I'm really not sure why right now.

 

Yeah, its ****ing turgid ****e.

 

Thought he had a good game - did all he could do help us get a goal at the end.
