We were linked with him last year, although that was around the time the papers decided to link us with any Football League prospect who was decent on Football Manager...
4-0 FT. Excellent first half performance and a leisurely stroll through the second. Another away win, another clean sheet and I think we've got to be happy with that. Good result to take into the international break.
On another day we might be regretting our wastefulness, but 4-0 away from home in the PL is always good. Thought Dele should have been subbed after picking up the booking - ran around a lot, but didn't influence anything. So a pity that we didn't take the opportunity to give another squad player a few minutes.
So I dunno how much this has been mentioned on here but apparently Dele sacked his agent recently and has had every top agent in The Premier League and beyond courting him. Gotta wonder what's going through his head right now. A year after signing a new 6-year contract what are those sharks promising him and whispering in his ear? Well - he's not doing any of them a favour cos by playing this **** he's looking far from a 200k a week Barcelona player. He's looking like a kid who needs to get his head straight and work twice as hard in training to prove to the manager that he has something to offer the first team. As for Kane: apparently he's a manager's dream and look at what a player he's made of himself. Wouldn't swap him for anyone. Only downside of that game is that we're looking a bit like a one-man team attacking-wise. Don't get me wrong - it was a very solid team performance but without Kane I worry how we'd create and score. Dele and Son contributed so much last season but this season are hot/cold and just cold. Classy as Eriksen is he doesn't score or create situations out of nothing that often.
