That's how I remember it. Pretty sure Joe popped up with one random post a year or so later but didn't make any more or stick around. This is a cracking idea btw rawmok, I often read a lot of old threads on night shifts and find them quite interesting. I nearly did a 'missing posters' thread too at one point.
I'm not a regular poster, 2,500 is peanuts compared to some. I do enjoy catching up on here when I can though. We have a good mix and its been a bonus to have met a few on here. It would be great for more to get involved in posting. I am aware there are a lot of fans that view but rarely post. Come and get involved. I like your missing posters idea, does anyone know these to get them involved again?
I've been around since the 606 days (like yourself) but only started posting regularly in the past 2/3 years really. Probably because I live a lot more settled lifestyle than I used to Not sure if anyone knows any who have been mentioned but probably doubtful. Does @Saintalona still post? Wasn't he mates with the Leeds fan who's an estate agent in Soton? Sorry gone on a tangent there. Agree about the lurkers btw, I've also noticed that there's plenty who have the odd post in the politics thread but don't post on footy threads which I find a bit odd personally. We managed to coax @VocalMinority out of lurking though.
Yes rings a bell what you say about saintalona. At the start, used to enjoy reading posts by CGO,, known as child grown older and channon, golac, Osgood. Wonder what happened to him.
When CBK returns our fortunes change. He is our biggest miss this season, well next to a AM & a fast target man!
I'd argue cold hard goals are our biggest miss, but to be fair you cited the areas that would accommodate them...
