Probably when we were desperate (when we only hade one striker) and now Keogh's come in things aren't as urgent anymore.

Actually reading about him I would prefer him on loan than give a contract to Forsell, don't get me wrong I would prefer to be looking at CB and LB even a new RB as Lees can play CB but a toss up between Priskin on loan or a contract to Forsell who is going to rot on the bench when Somma and Becchio are back????

But I would guess Forssell would get a 1 year contract, possibly see how he does next to Keogh and then move one on.

RB isn't really an issue, we have Lees who can play there and Conolly is actually good, just had a poor start. We know from last season he's solid.

I'd rather sell Paynter and strengthen the defense. Amount of money we're known for spending on players, transfer fee for Paynter would be more than enough.

Becchio is more important to the team than Gradel IMO. Cares more about the club and the fans aswell.

I can assure you that there isn't a player in this division that cares about their club and fans when it comes to contract and money. If one of the big prem teams came in for Becchio or any other player in this division with European football and a £50k+ salary the transfer request would be on the table before the ink had dried.

I think though if say a bottom end-mid table PL club came along offering £20k-ish he'd stay.

Becchio signed a new contract because he wanted to stay with us...
    End of story.
    Priskin an average striker
Forsell poor legs past it also had trials everywhere else..
I would sooner take a loan youngster from a prem side who needs to prove themselves x

I massively disagree that no player cares.
    Howson clearly cares.
Kisnorbo gives his whole heart to the club.
I truely think it would take a top 5 Prem team to make Snoddy want to leave.

West Ham wanted to sign Forssell, but they couldn't get rid of the strikers they needed to to be able to.

No-one knows Forsell's legs have gone,he's only 30 & was playing top end Bundesliga last season. Good experienced pro who would make a decent addition to the squad.

couple hundred thousand, probs. We'd get a couple of mill for Becchio but no more than a couple of hundred thousand of it would get spent on strengthening the team, so what odds does it make?

Thomas priskin i definitely wouldnt be happy with. We probably pulled out because we realised we were gonna bring in keogh.

I would welcome the signing of forssell though as he is a proven player. We dont seem to sign many of them

He scored 17 goals in 32 games for Birmingham in 2003-4. If you add up the lengths of his sup appearances to 90 minutes and count each of those as a game aswell as his starts he averages a goal every 3 full games.
