This incident has changed the game - with Larsson sent off and the resulting penalty which Shola would have no doubt scored, the result would have been in little doubt. As it is, Sunderland get away with another outrageous decision in their favour two weeks running. Cheating ****s.
Blatant penalty - the damned ball deflected significantly off the Sunderland player's arm with no other player close to confuse the touch. It doesn't look like it's going to be Newcastle's lucky day today
The irony being that Howard Webb was rated as 'the best referee in the world' recently! ...both him and the blind bitch on the sideline couldn't see a blatant hand-ball like that? ...FFS!
Really? I think he got it just right, we limitied their chances and shola and obertan held up the ball well and won afew free kicks and corners. Given our weakness at left back and our lack of a quality finisher atm I think he's got the tactics dead on. And te result supports me on that!
