You only have to rise like a manatee to score against us from a corner.

One thing is sure to happen. Salah will miss the easiest chance ever he always does. Plus I think he will score a goal that is more difficult to score.

So @Zanjinho when does Salah stop being **** considering he is our top scorer?

When he starts coverting at a decent rate and scores more than just tap ins.

He can score nothing but tap-ins, as far as I'm concerned - as long as he's putting a good number away. It shows he's getting into the right positions.

His header was a 1 in 100 chance

That's him all over though innit

Misses the one where he's unchallenged with a gaping hole one side of the keeper

Then somehow scores a header from basically behind one of the posts while two guys close him down

With Coutinho back in the team you will see more 1 on 1 chances as he is brilliant at drifting from wide to center without getting caught offside. I have a feeling if he continues doing it more he will get clinical with time. 20 goals this season is not beyond him.

If he could maintain his current rate and stay injury free then he would do that, and I don't care how he gets them.
His current scoring rate is already higher than that of Suarez in his first 18 months with us.
It took him quite a while to improve his chance-to-goal ratio too.

that goal he scored last time was far harder than a tap in.. he missed an absolute sitter 5 mins before. it was a really good header.

that is fair, suarez missed a lot of chances in his first season. He got the shots on target and took off then.

I don't think either of us are saying he's the next suarez but I do think he can improve on this conversion rate as he settles more into the league.

Of course not. Just that because he's wasteful atm doesn't mean he won't improve. He's getting into the positions, which is half the battle. And he's not hiding, he tends to follow up a couple of extravagant misses by popping one in.

I dunno about that but i agree it wasn't a 1 in 100. it was a real chance but not an easy chance. He did well with it imo.

I mean firmino should have put him in for a tap in V spartak but played behind him stupidly and also shovelled and easish chance form edge of box a mile over... surely he deserves more critique than salah this season?

I just hope some players up their game this weekend and give us a show.

This one is tough. The result i can handle either way as long as the players did well. We've not been right IMO and thats the frustrating thing. Anyone can lose in this league but if you give the performance and **** goes wrong it goes wrong. If you don't perform then you don't deserve anything.

And yeah i'm talking lovren and henderson and can..... and firmino.... and just want to see the forward 4 starting to really click.
