Mikael Forssell's trial has been extended by an extra week, and we also have 22 year old American forward Antonio "Tony" Taylor on trial: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Taylor_(soccer)

Has a decent scoring record, especially with "Florida Kraze" but hasn't played enough games to really go on. If he signs hopefully he'll be another Somma and not another Grella.

Nobody else wantes him due to his injury record. He's not a big centre forward and never been a handful in the box. His best days are behind him and he's 30 now, and even at Birmingham he was dire. So no I don't want him and he's not good enough for us, we deserve better if we are to have a serious challeng.

2-weeks ago Grayson told us we didn't need any strikers, but since then we've got one and now he's thinking about another? Does this mean Lucca's injury is much worse than he told us

I know nothing about taylor and his wiki page is small, not that that'll necessarilly tell you all the facts about a player and whether he is good or not but i would definitely welcome forrssell. Was he not the one that scored a hat trick in a 4-1 win for birmingham that got us relegated from the prem, i have very strong memories of that. IMO forrssell is a very good finisher and a proven striker who could slot quite nicely in the team if mccormack got injured or even push mccormack out of the team. Would be some more healthy competition in attack

We really don't need either of them, get some defenders in on trial. Even without Becchio and Somma we can use Gradel as a make shift striker we have an overflowing midfield if Grayson wishes to continue 4-4-2... All these strikers on trial I am really worried Becchio is going to be out far longer than we expected

Well Somma's fot a huge layoff anyway, and there's always the danger Becchio could tweak whatever it was he injured again when he gets back and be out for even longer. Couple that with the fact that Paynter and Grella will likely never play for us again...

We need to ship Paynter and Grella out the club, before SG signs anymore strikers.

I had no idea anyone actually bid for him. It could hardly be turned down because the offer wasn't good enough :/

i think he will either go out on loan for a season or till Xmas will a view to a move...
He was a free and it did not work out for him..
we should cut oour losses and seel for 250k - 400k and bring someone else in..
Also cut Grella loose as well..
