Hope c Buttler b Woakes 11 (WI 19-2) After a review that really shouldn't have been wasted, WI are struggling
Test matches cut to 4 days (even after the great 5 day match in the Windies series) ODI should be half day 20/20 make it 10/10 Better still just toss a coin on telly so no one has to turn up. I’m feeling rather traditionalist today.
Hope you're enjoying the game Beth.... WIndies gone from 33/3 to 294/4 with 5 overs remaining, England looking at having to chase in the region of 350/360 to win series.......
Probably would've done if he didn't injure himself. It's very rare to see a cricketer stretchered off.
356-5. Far better than the first few overs suggested. Brilliant from Lewis, lacklustre from England. All down to the batsmen now...
Not a clever thing to have done, but do you remember one IT Botham? He was no angel. Maybe it comes with the territory.
Only because Ian Chappell didn't bring charges. My biggest concern is not that he lamped someone in a nightclub, but that he may have injured his hand in the process.
Fantastic counter attack by Buttler and Ali gets England ahead on D/L. Shame the rain came, as it was shaping up to be a fantastic finish.
Wow was that a game and a half...Moeen and Butler playing against the Windes and the weather...It was so exciting...the man in front of me actually woke up....or it might have been because it started raining Anyway I have asked to go again next year
The people who make the rules of cricket have made some changes, including the ability to sin bin and send off players. Can’t see this being used very much. What will make a difference is limiting the size of the edge and the depth of the bat, which should reduce the number of sixes hit off essentially bad shots. A big improvement in the aesthetics of the game - there are few better sights than a middled straight six, and few more dispiriting than an edge which flies over third man. Only a few players use the monster bats which are now illegal, but they include Chris Gayle and........David Warner. Excellent. Anyone else remember Denis Lillee’s Aluminium bat?
