Rodriguez gets taken out in the Arsenal box but gets back up to have a shot so no pen.. What incentive there for staying on your feet ? No wonder players dive

Ref didn't help him there. Said all along, no incentive for players to stay on their feet or get up quick because refs see it as a way to not give the big decision.

Like Henry said, if he's stayed down prob would have got pen which means next time there is a small amount of contact he'll throw himself to the ground. So counter productive from the ref

Alan smith just called this a 'tough test' for Arsenal that they've come through well.

WBA who have conceded in all 20+ league games against Arsenal and Pullis who has lost all 10 games away to Arsenal.

Whaa the oppoaite of a bogey team <laugh>

He is just a one season wonder!

Will he stay at Spurs in the longer term or stick with them. The new ground has to move them up in the standings of European football.

Or does he go to a Munich/Madrid?

    I like Kane good player.

But was wondering who would buy him?

Wouldn't say one season wonder, but he needs the service, we had crouch that I loved, but how many clubs would buy them?

I'm pretty sure PJ was on the WUM.

Kane is far from a 1 season wonder.

If he stays fit he'll go over 100 PL goals this season and if he stays largely fit and stays in the PL over his career, he'll go over 200 and might even threaten Shearers Record.

Looks like Mendy will be out for a long spell. That's a big blow for City as the FB's are among the most important position, the way Pep sets his teams up. Guess that Danillo would come in when they play a back 4 and could risk Delph as a wing back in a 5, although wouldn't need to if Kompany is fit. (big if!!)

why isn't the ref charged as well since his primary responsibility is to control players behaviour.

    excellent point.

The ref has recourse to two little plastic cards that there are no rules about the time of issuance, or that one foul is allowed before they can be used.

book the first guy out of line whether its 70mins of 2 mins or 30seconds.

Stop this attitude that "oh the ref has now given himself a decision to make later" for pundits etc.

guy smashes another guy in 30 seconds and sticks on finger up and ref says fine on you go he's just given carte blanche to every other player to do the same.

It SHOULD require spurs tripling his wages very soon to make it happen.

Its like anything. Could any spurs fans begrudge the guy 300k or 400k a week compared to 120k now.... i mean really?

now he may say he just wants to win things and spurs are not doing it so he moves but thats actually more insulting to a club imo than saying here.. i've 5 years to earn this i have to go do it.
