    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds suffered their heaviest defeat of the season last last as the Bluebirds soured to the top of the table.

In all honesty, Leeds did not deserve anything out of the game. Looking at the line up before kick off, I was thinking lightweight and square pegs in round holes?

When you're playing away from home, against an inform team, the first thing you should do is to ensure you have the tools you need to defend.

    Christiansen did not do this!

O'Kane was ill, so did not take part in the game. I believe the gaffer though Klitch would be a suitable replacement.

It's easy to say now but Viera should have started; it was always going to be a little bit feisty and with him AND Phillips bossing the midfield, chasing everything down. It would have flustered Cardiff (that is why we saw Bamba make so many stupid errors when he was playing for us).

    Next point.

Does anyone here see Roofe as a centre forward? Really??

What was the point of not starting with Lasogga?

He had just flown back, leaving his partner and newborn baby to be with the squad - He was not used at all!

It would have been better had he stayed in Germany, and flew back Thursday night, to train with the squad all fresh for Friday.

When you know its going to be a scrap, why play Hernandez?

Rest him! It needed the likes of O'Kane, Viera, Phillips and Lasogga.

I understand the gaffer wanted to rest the big man; there's an important Yorkshire derby at the weekend, BUT, we were playing a team that were joint top of the table with us, Cardiff are a decent team. IMO it was disrespectful and naive to to play Roofe up front on his own against one of the stingiest defences in the division.

The table does not lie; the game at the weekend against the Wendies should be easier than a midweek battle at the Cardiff Arena!

    Morning all...

Myself and LeedsLondon I think it was both said yesterday we can understand him (Lasogga) being rested but why take him along on the team coach and sit him on the bench?

Thomas seems a very intelligent guy, we can see where it went wrong yesterday and hopefully he has too. It's easy for us as fans and the coach to believe we're best in the league when everything clicks and fits but it's games like yesterday where you can learn more about your team in one game than the previous 6

Reality check is, we have a new coach and a lot of new players many quite young and learning as a group. We had a star striker wanting to leave as the season had kicked off when everything prior was set around him being a lone striker (Wood) so it's tricky.

As Eire said previously let's hope we can scrap, perform and stick around until January and I'm sure Thomas will have funds made available when he will have learnt for sure where our biggest weaknesses are.

your squad is too big TC is trying to keep everybody happy by playing rotational and the players you have are not good enough in depth. Keep a settled side as some are asking (and correctly so in my opinion) and youll have a very awkward dressing room. And already some are saying bring more in in Jan <laugh>

The Lassoga point is well made, if you dont want to use him then you leave him with his family in Germany resting and flying him to Leeds on Thursday rested. He should have played because Roofe isnt a center forward. In fact Grot has done most of his damage playing on the wing & scoring for fun so against Cardiff Grot would have been ideal with Lassoga. Fooking Bamba wouldnt have been able to play the Zico no10 role ffs

We go again but find it hard to criticize Tommy as he has the full picture, but do think hes learning the hard way about Warnock, Harris & Macarthy

Good morning all,Now i'm getting over the horror of last nights game,i agree with almost everyone else that this is still a team in the making (that bloody Cardiff hoodoo) however their is a couple of team members i personally am not happy with, hernandez for one very lightweight & why does he take most of the dead ball situations, very poor decision making & more often than not no end product.the other is wiedwald inspires no confidence in me,let alone the guys in front of him.Despite last night i still think we have the makings of a very good team, but for me these two positions realy do need addressing (possibly in the january window) if were to make further progress this season.<magic>

    Morning all.

TC got it wrong last night. We know it and I'm sure he knows it. Five changes against any league opposition is asking for trouble and to do it against one of the form setters is suicidal.
Apart from the enforced changes I think the rest were an overreaction from the Millwall game. We were roughed up in that one and couldn't play against it. He expected the same last night and tried to act accordingly.
It didn't work. We had the possession but our passing and creativity was crap. The players were passing to each other like they had never met. This made Cardiff look better than they actually were.
Please don't see this as sour grapes but I don't believe Cardiff are as good as their league position says. They work hard and hassled us all night which I respect but if we had not been so lackadaisical with our passing and shown a bit more urgency on the ball they may not have got the goals they did.
We should have played the like of Saiz and attempted to play them off the pitch. We know we are capable of that and with the possession we had shows we could have done it.

Cooper- the above points were compounded by the red card for our Captain. I have been a fan of Cooper since day one and always thought he had in him what we have seen so far this season.
But then last night reminds me why so many had reservations for so long. The first yellow was for a overzealous tackle we will see loads this season.
My anger towards the captain came at the stupidity shown in that second yellow. Why, when already booked, make that attempt at a tackle like that? It shows a naivety which I do not expect of the Captain.
At 11 v 11 we were still in the game and with the way we played in the second half could have rescued something.

Match verdict- Manager and Captain caught out by the learning curve. Yes we may need to tweak the team to suit our opponents but mass changes do us no good. First and foremost let's do what we do best and play them off the park.

Cooper a liability, hopefully Pennington and Jannson will be our regular CH partnership from now on.we were set up to counter attack IMO but then played like the home team, should have defended deeper and looked to attack on the break.

Morning all, after great deliberation i have to put my points across the forum for debate , criticism, Chirpyslagging, whatever!!!

First of all, LUFC board of directors make the statement today that ALL travelling fans to Cardiff shall be compensated for loss of wages, cost of ticket and travel etc. due to lack of commitment from team, manager, coaching staff.
TC to make a public apology today and have the squad in Thorp Arch this afternoon to watch that garbage they term as football, then extra training.

Wiedwald, sorry he is not a good keeper and shall cost us points throughout the season, he has been protected up to the last 3 games, when called upon he cannot deliver, now i understand why Green has gone, he has looked at him and thought if he is first choice then fck this i am off.

Cooper, best thing he has done all season getting red carded, now TC shall play, or should play the best partnership of Pontus and Pennington, if he does not then he shall start getting some stick as well (he is close to it at this moment)

Berardi, he is not a left back, not his fault but we have to get a good LB and soon, him from scum is not up to standard who i thought was, but i stand corrected, neither is Anita.

Hernandez, is a whimp and shurks tackles, he threads the odd good ball through the oppositions defence and takes a decent corner, but sorry the team cannot carrying him for 90 minutes.

Roofe, says his best position is up front????????? maybe in division one, but not in this league, he is clueless, cannot hold a ball up, frightened of being tackled, i would not play him again.

Lassogo, If i was him, i would be knocking on the Managers door this morning and asking for "clear the air talks" why have him travel back from Germany and dont play him?? if i was Lassogo i would tell TC fck me around again and i will go back to Hamburg, who incidentally are impressed with his form, so we cannot expect him to be a player next season.

That weasel faced twat Warnock is pissing himself this morning, he played a Leeds throw back Bamber in MF which is not his position and he bossed us around, what the fck is that all about, TC had better get it right against the Wendies or we shall be in the window for a good slagging from all the visiting fans on this forum, along with himself.

Re cooper, that first yellow came after he'd messed up and lost possession, it was like a bit of a temper thing. The second was almost petulant. It just seems he has games where his head isn't right. Whether it's triggered by something in the game, or mindset before it, I don't know. Shame he's played well this season, but what we hoped was a thing of the past sadly isn't.

    Pennington in, O'Kane as captain.

The only thing missing from that is that TC is another a Hockadayesque appointment...
If Cellino had appointed this nobody from nowhere on the basis they had analysed last seasons defeats we would have gone ape. Anyone here apart from billy(we are worldbeaters)statue, mike and wj could have told him why we were ****e at the start and end of last season.

    Infidel,

That's quite an angry, and stupid in parts, reaction to a defeat. A refund and all you all for- is this something you are going to ask for after every defeat? Do you offer to pay more when we play well and win?
You pay your money you take your chance.

Roofe has scored 3 goals in 3 games up front, most centre forwards would kill for that record.
Last night he did not get the service at all sure to a team wide inability not to pass to blue shirts.

Berardi may not be a natural left back but has proven over more than one game that he is very good there. Why do so many Leeds fans form their sweeping opinions on a game by game basis?

Talking about making stupid posts your Beradi comments are laughable. He is a fecking liability and needs shipping out if we can find a club stupid enough to take him.

The Cardiff hoodoo !! In recent years we have been better than you guys. Simple
As for last night, we tore you a new one, you were lucky to get a jammy deflected goal, and if the score was 5 or 6 you would not have had anything to complain about. I know its disappointing for you all, but you were beaten by a much better team in all departments, our movement on and off the ball was good and our attack play was outstanding. I look forward to the return fixture with confidence. I wish some of you could at least be honest about it and compliment a side that are actually much better than you. For what its worth i think both sides will be in the top 6 and it will be perm any of those 6 for the automatics. Good luck against Wednesday.

More red cards than good games. He has been a liability since day one.
Do you remember his first four games?
He couldnt find another club in the summer despite trying. Nobody fancied him.
You made the original comment so why dont you back it up.
