The "Stoke Experience" is always strange. Remote ground on top of a hill surrounded by car showrooms and warehouses. Very cold and very windy as there aren't many corners to the ground so wear warm clothes. Car parking is plentiful for £5 but is slow to get out onto a meaningful route The stewards aren't very friendly as they are generally Yorkshire bouncers en route to Birmingham for Saturday nights fun. Don't bother with hot drinks inside the ground as they taste chemically The atmosphere is very strange. Deathly silence after the Delila Song until they score (or get someone sent off which isn't unusual) then they become very excited but the silence is ominous. After the game as you leave the visiting fans car par enclosure, watch out for the police who stand deliberately in the exit and are looking to provoke trouble as we funnel out through the gap. Have fun! COYRs

Apparently we have tracked him in the past....first I have heard of it, but then Les doesn't talk to me like he used to. Cost Barca 26 mill....bit warm for us I would have thought.
Both of those Newcastle goals are my favourites. 1] Because they are equally superb in different ways using different skills. 2] Because nobody else in the PL at the time demonstrated a capability anywhere near Matty, who had been and was doing it on a fairly regular basis. 3] Because it shut up the doubters and made a joke of Ian Branfoot's managerial judgement.
Link restricted at work for some reason, but I'm assuming it is Alcacer? If so not what we need, would just be another Gabbi not getting the ball after good movement.
Well he could score goals pretty well and assist. Hit the post a few too many times, but I forgive him for that.
http://www.hampshirechronicle.co.uk/sport/15561670.Southampton_Women_make_flying_start/ Southampton Ladies won their first 4 games this season....am I right in thinking that they have no formal link with our club (unlike in the past).
Liked to see these goals again. One of the few matches I got to that season and I was near the corner, so got a fantastic view of Pelle's scissor kick.
I remember that clearly for obvious reasons, sat up the hospital all day with my mate texting me through the goals. Remember telling him before the game that 'Austin will definitely score, that prick always scores against us' Thought he was lying when he text me saying '2-1, Pelle overhead kick'
edit: Nvm it wasn't him , I saw what i thought was bens unmistakeable sideburns next to O'Connor but i think its actually Heodt
