That's the problem when you bring in loaners....They could be recalled tomorrow, next week, next month.. Why should they care. Even half of those on the books couldn't give a $hit .
Allams to blame of course for the squad we have . But we are still way underperforming for what we have . QPR, Reading and Sunderland were there for the taking and should have been beaten . Leo a really nice guy unfortunately he's used to managing the top players in the league/country not average championship squad. We need I hate to say it a warnock or something like that look what he's done with average Cardiff team
I see the gate was announced as 15,400. That is simply ludicrous, obviously made up and at least 3k north of the number of people actually there. What is the club trying to prove?
Presumably it includes all the pass holders that didn't go*, but even so it was miles off I guessed 12,500 *no need mind you, I'm quite sure that at some point, say 15 mins in, the system can automatically tell them how many have actually scanned in
Highlights if anyone wants to start the day on the wrong foot... http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/championship
He's had loads of failed businesses and one successful one. In fact, without an incredibly slimy deal that ripped off his entire workforce after a previous failure, he never would have even been able to start what is now called Allam Marine.
Richard Branson has had loads of failed businesses. That bellend off the apprentice or whatever it is has had loads of failed businesses. They're **** too then. Every hugely successful business like Allam marine is successful due to slimy deals that rip someone off. That's business. He is quite evidently very good at making money, to try and suggest otherwise is just daft.
Any **** with loads of money in the first place can buy a load of businesses, make most of them fail and then succeed eventually. It's not worthy of idolising them like people do but that's the world we live in I suppose. Personally I've far more respect for a sole trader who really does start with nothing but makes a comfortable living. I'd call that being 'good at business'. ****ers like Allam always have a phoney working class back story, and they always worked super hard to get where they are today.
Anyway I've calmed down now so I can give an assessment: 1. Clark shouldn't have been dropped before. He isn't great but he pisses all over Kingsley, who looks like a lost little boy. 2. Hector, Tomori and Aina all think they are a lot better than they actually are. I dont have any confidence in any of them yet to either a) win a header b) challenge for a header c) be positionally correct or d) not try and go round 6 men in our own penalty box. 3. We have close to zero bite in the team (Campbell and Meyler the exception) - where is the nastiness in this team? Or even a bloodymindedness? The team that went up with Browny didn't have that many technically great players but my God we stuck our heads in where it hurt: Turner, Brown, Ricketts, Dawson, Ashbee, Marney, Garcia, Barmby, France, ***an, Campbell, Windass - they could all stick one on someone and didn't shirk ****. Even Nathan Doyle had a bit of grit about him. 4. We need to get rid of this 3-5-2 or 5-3-2-1 or whatever it is. It ain't working. 4-4-2 please.
He didn't have loads of money in the first place, neither did Alan Sugar, and despite coming from a rich family Richard Branson started his empire himself. Allam saw potential in a failing business, turned it around and made hundreds of millions of pounds out of it. I can't quite see how that makes him **** at business? Maybe Lionel Messi is **** at football too?
It was bad enough seeing it last night Plum! My twopenneth for what it's worth, poor, we seem to be hitting new depths. The poor squad is of the Allams doing, but even these players should be capable of looking up and making a pass to a team mate, first half too many just hoofing the ball anywhere, what's the point if just hoofing long aimless balls when we've got a lone striker, it's not rocket science. First half, only one team showed desire, quick to second balls and pace, and it wasn't us. Slutsky, for all his pedigree and being a nice man, looks hopelessly out of his depth in this league with a bunch of average/below average players. He looks like a lonely mad man pacing up and down around his area, although looked smart in his suit. So, over to Saturday, and Birmingham, an equally **** team, on a **** run, we know how this usually ends, City the gift that keeps on giving, hope not, time for Slutsky to earn his dosh.
Ehab gambled on the fact that a few youngsters from Chelsea would tear this league up but all three need a rocket up their arse and told to stop playing FIFA football and start switching on when it counts.
Anyone try to get into Walton Street car park last night? Normally go in the top gate to find it covered by a police van. So had to turn round and go on the middle one. I asked one of the attendants why it was shut. The answer was there wasn't enough staff, apart from the fact there was two of them taking money. Baffling. I then asked the two policeman why they couldn't get out the fan and let a few cars in who have passes. The lovely coffee I usually have can now not be obtained so have to buy the overpriced sh1t in the stadium (why is the sugar and milk so far away from the place it is served?). Too the game. Where do you start. A decent team with average players tore us a apart at times thanks to us constantly having no defensive solidity or awareness and aimlessly hoofing the ball up for the entire first half. Our full backs are horrendous Aina more so. The penny isn't dropping at all. Defensively out of position all the time. There was one point he was out of position and Bowen gave a free kick away I was screaming at him. I thought grand he can get back into position. He stood there like a lost boy. How Hector stayed on the pitch I will never know he and Larsson stank the place out. Campbell was frustrated by a incompetent ref and terrible service. Irvine tried and looked bright but didn't get much help. We where better second half and could of maybe won the game undesevidely if we hadn't missed two sitters. Corners. Less said the better. No organisation or plan like the whole team. The only thing that brightened up my night was a unfortunate fan been stuck in the turnstile and the stewards taking at least 20 minutes to sort it out. Great night, I look forward to Saturday.
