So impressed with the defending at the end there. Whoever was on the left for Boro was trying to get down the line at speed in the 89th minute. He'd got 3 yellow shirts surrounding him, and another covering off a low cross. Even when the Boro CBs had it, Jerome and Maddison were running at them, we weren't giving anybody time on the ball.

I've always said JM was one of AN's most astute signings - shame he never gave him a chance, but then 'teacher's pet' was always ahead of him in the pecking order!! <laugh>

Observations: (1) we have only scored 3 goals in last five league games and had 5 clean sheets (2) ITFC have scored 19 goals to our 9 and have conceded thirteen to our twelve in all league matches to date and are presently 5th with a game in hand. We play them soon. Has anybody else also noticed that a certain AN at Preston has guided his team to 4th in the Championship? Is this 'what we hold we keep' philosophy resulting in strikers acting as another defender?

Another good win and it was away. I had a dream we were losing 2-1, but it was a good surprise when I woke up. Things are clicking into place which is pleasing, hopefully we can continue to improve over the next few months as Fark gets used to the players and the players to each other and him.

As a Norwich supporter, not overly bothered how ITHC or Preston are getting on. As long as we continue to make progress, which clearly we are, why not just allow yourself to enjoy it ( for once).

I just had one of those feelings that we would win that game.

Farke has addressed the leaky defence by removing Martin and we just have to get the balance right in midfield and the final 3rd.

There will be setbacks like Burton but overall I see improvement.

Some excellent posts and to have won 1-0 sway from home against 2 teams fancied for promotion is brilliant.
As has been said, the defending has been superb in recent games and I can see us starting to increase our 'goals for' tally soon

Sounds like our backs were against the wall and they defended really well. Really nice to be able to say that again. He's getting them drilled nicely at the back.

This, from PD's 5 things we learned column in today's EDP.
Pay attention, Canario <ok>

3. Savour Cameron Jerome - He might not possess the star quality of Nelson Oliveira, but in this counter-attacking strategy that is bringing such reward he is a vital component.
The manner he bullied a £25m-rated centre back in Ben Gibson and, on occasion, occupied the whole Boro backline with his industry and willingness to run the channels underlined again his residual value to the cause. Judge him not solely on his goal ratio.

Have to admit, despite only radio commentary, he was a beast last night and a massive part of an excellent team win <ok>
