what I cant fathom is why we buy players for 10 mill then don't play them? why buy them? or at least give them 6-10 games to prove themselves, not 1-2 games. ffs we give Fer a run every match and I think he is the laziest player I have seen in a long while.
Really can't see how Mesa can be a 'dud' Musty, if that's what you're alluding to. He'll come good is my feeling. Some players just don't adapt to the Premier league from the outside, as others. Also, he's used to playing in Gran Canaria, our climate would turn anyone..
Fabianski - not a lot he could do for the goal but didn't command the area, slow distribution, didn't communicate. Naughton - decent going forward but didn't do it often enough and was poor defensively. Rangel offers more passion and better delivery. Both should have been upgraded in the summer. Fernandez - didn't put a foot wrong and played well throughout (thank goodness) VDH - should have been kept on, played well. Mawson - Championship player. He's been all over the place so far this season and looks like he believes the hype surrounding him. Would have kept VDH on ahead of him. Olssen - Championship player. Another poor game, but ... he was rubbing his hamstring all game and limping towards the end. He is not fit. The blistering performances of last year haven't been seen since his injury in Feb/March. Selling Kingsley was a huge blunder. Fer - Championship player. Can be good but when he has dross around him his faults are magnified. Clucas - Championship player. No better than Fulton who was no where near good enough. Ayew - decent game and showed some passions and skill. But .... another Championship player. Wilfried - love him but he's a shadow of the man we sold and his return to the team has been too much to ask at this stage. Carroll - form Watford and today he looked like he didn't wan to upset them. Why he wasn't taken off after 20 minutes let alone kept on for the duration is a mystery. Abraham - injected pace and urgency Mesa - great touches and frustrated others weren't looking for space and were waiting for the ball to reach them instead of going towards the pass. Sanches - it must be in the hire purchase agreement that he plays every game, otherwise why bother. Clement - I was convinced he got lucky last season and even more so now. The performances have been of a Bradley level as have his tactics and substitutions.. Even Monk would do a better job with this set of players and he is one step up from dog **** in my book. TBF - the summer business was appalling and there is no pace and almost no creativity in the squad. Routledge, Leon and Rangel would all have improved today's performances just by instilling some passion for the club. Parking 11 players behind the ball at Wembley wasn't tactical genius it was all we could do. Something drastic has to happen and it could be bye bye Paul.
Dai!!! Welcome back!!! It's good to see you back to your usual rubbish posts. By the way, when you were not here, someone was using your account and posting sense. I'd check my password etc. , if I were you.
Well done Cardiff......Keep it going now till the end of the season. you will never get a better chance than this with Warnock as the manager.
Be unforgivable that if this is eventually the very season we go down, those 2hats up the road come up. Don't think Jenkins would be wise to stay in Swansea..
