I don't like all this triumphalism after only three matches. That attitude didn't do Mr Kinnock much good at Sheffield, did it? CP has yet to match his opening sequence of four wins, and we all know what followed. Probably the worse string of results in all four divisions. And have you already forgotten that Parky began in Div One with six wins on the trot? CP is only halfway there. Like all of us, I am thrilled at what we are seeing, not just the results but the quality of football with a young side, but please don't brag. It's not English or gentlemanly. Agree 100% with that, although I am starting to view cricket with far less pessimism I still treat football with it. Although with the quality of the football being played I see it as completely different to Parky's opening run as even in that general feeling was often not one of hype and many predicted the downfall. Realised I booked this weekend off ages ago for no apparent reason that I can remember so looks like I'm travelling to London on my own, seeing how my friends fail to appreciate the good things in life, to watch Charlton. Having been abroad for Bournemouth, first home game of the season for me. Cant wait. However, nerves still there, since however well we play there will always be the times when we get could get kicked apart by an over physical team and a poor referee trying to even up an abundance of skill. This team seem physically able to cope with it so far and continue to play well. Lets hope that despite Pardew's attempt to undermine our morale with a derisory bid for Elliot this week we have the same team spirit we have shown so far and that the valley is a fortress. I think when Powell took over we ran our luck in some of those games, colchester being the obvious one! This season we seem to be beating teams convincingly like we did in parkys first league one gsmes' I think we have more squad depth this year so hopefully when problems set in we can rotate accordingly!
Rocky you must be pleased with how Wycombe have started, in 7th with 5 points can you keep this momentum up cos I had Wycombe down for an easy 6 pts this season do I need to re-evaluate that?

morning lads we like being given no chance by other teams fans.we are only a small club but we are doin ok 14 games unbeaten now. but we have a good squad that can cope with life in this division as teams are finding out.good luck for today lets hope the 6 points are 3 for each of our teams today
