    But (and it’s a rather large but) who the **** can we attract to our club which will make it work? Would you go somewhere that the atmosphere at home is so poisonous when it starts going wrong? Who can get us out of this ****?

    With the players we've got, the best we can do is wait for Watmore to come back and play him up front for his pace and try and hit teams on the break á la Leicester season before last. Only problem is, that requires defensive organisation and solidity which we just don't have.

    From SAFC match day reporting:

    Ipswich have come out in this second period and made it extremely difficult for the Black Cats. They have kept the ball well and penned Sunderland deep into their own half.

    Well that’s nice. Why can’t our players adapt to that and press higher up? Or anything really.
