Time is passing by far too slowly! Have set 5 alarms in case I don't wake up to one of them. Not used to these early kick offs on saturday!
Been up since 4 in the morning reading this, can't sleep, it's 5:36 now, had some coffee, think I should have put a whisky in it though, yes, I think thats a good idea, why not , its derby day and the police have determined that we should start drinking early, thats a good enough excuse for me.
Well boys and girls, its here and soon the bravado stops and reallity kicks in.This thread as been good natured so far, all that could be about to change so before it does, win, lose or draw, get home safe and do you best to enjoy. For me, we could be 10-0 up with 5 minutes to go and I still would not realy enjoy until that final whistle blows, ****ing derbies.
Nearly time to go, nerves are starting, but after last season I am not sure if it hope, expectation or just numbness. Who do I think will win, I would love us to, although I am getting on a bit it seems an awful long time since we won at home, I can recall seeing us win at their place not so long ago SKP scoring IIRC. SO which SUnderland team will turn up today? SB had them underdone last season, and frankly that is when my doubts about him started to surface. SB is also in a paper today talking about his 'fear' of the game. FFS sake no wonder the players are not raring to go. Still here we go...I wonder what the next post later this afternoon will be about..2-0 to us?
