So....its not great. We don't seem willing to try 1/2 around box and either draw fouls or just get grt in behind. We need to question some decision making here. Moreno has chased at least two balls high up when he could have retreated to position and thry have Cygnus up as a result. Very small decisions leading to silly this vs down the other end. Can is stinking the place up yes. The front 4 if we can call them that are not quite in sync imo. This game could go either way.
Game has gone as expected, us giving away free kicks just outside our area, them making sure they give them away around the halfway line. Can and Hendo being crap as defending midfielders, Coutinho has put in more tackles than they have. Our attack looking great going forward, right up until they get near the opposition goal then they all forget how to shoot, or forget that offside is still a relevant rule. There will be more goals in this game in the 2nd half as both teams need the 96 year old, one legged, incontinent, deaf and blind neighbour of mine in the back four to improve them.
Every time I see that free it gets worse. Mane on outside of wall.. thats one... tall guy on outside ffs. On the other side I think there's another short arse. Ball virtually goes in middle of goal..... was wall even in right place? Karius didn't even move til it was over wall. Had he no sight of ball like.....
