Off Topic Fredoreferendum

Right, I've had a rethink...I want to vote for option 2, unban everyone except Fredor (and the only others banned are Billy...self-ban and SAFC83/Teesside who I believe I have the shout on whether they stay banned).

Makes sense

 

If we unban Fredor I am taking early retirement and moving back to the UK - its ****ing awful have to put up with his drivel on my own from early morning to lunchtime when some of you lot wake up.
Alternatively as its Pouchy's idea he can get up early for the rest of his life to be a Fredor First Responder - I will definitely be the first to thank him for his service.

 

I ticked option 2, but want to add a disclaimer this is just for a larf and Fredor should be unbanned the next day. Just think it'd be hilarious to unban literally everyone except him.

 

I want to see Billy back on here. I get on well with him and within a few weeks you lot would have all left

I'm not sure why we'd want to un-ban any of them. Teeside and 83 are completely incapable of friendly banter and Fredor is beyond tedious. It's just going to clutter up the board with utter garbage, and we already have enough of that with ACS's random threads.

 

We could unban everyone then ban me. I'd vote for that

Why was Teesside banned? I know his banter is ****e but that isn't really a justifiable reason to ban someone. He did get aggressive at times but to be honest that was funny. Its not like anyone ever felt threatened. He just sounds like an angry pisshead who thinks he's a bit of a hard man. Harmless on an internet forum really.

What did 83 do? I've had some cracking debates about football with him. Yeah he likes a dig now and again but generally he's alright. When he does go, it tends to be right off the deep end but that's what temporary bans are for to allow people to cool off. If they come on and do the same thing again immediately then the twats get all they deserve.

I remember back when this place kicked off you'd get very little banning. It was probably too loose for some. But then bans came in and would be short term, normally having the desired effect.

The shame is we don't get the likes of Disco or Gonads on here anymore. Those lads were good craic. They knew how to have a dig but still talk football. A bit of light hearted banter but then they'd still discuss a transfer or each teams hopes sensibly (although always biased - as it should be). We only see Sidthemackem sporadically too.

Some folk are just too tetchy I find. They look too deeply into things you write to be offended or just like arguing black is white for the sake of it. I think we could all name someone from their board who fits that description...I don't think he is banned. Despite being an utter bore and seriously temperamental.

I know Fredor went too far and just started cluttering the board with his ramblings, but if we'd just said "look you're banned for two weeks and this is why", he'd have at least known why. As it stands the doddering old criminal is probably unaware.

I preferred it when you could have a sensible conversation (reasonably sensible anyway) and take the piss without the hissy fits.

Now you have to kiss their arse for a period and then they will accept a bit of piss taking. It was when they got all "this is our board" about things, it lost its lustre.

Teesside and SAFC83 were banned for repeatedly banging on about meeting kids outside the school gates.

 

Fred the Oz was repeatedly told to stick to the point and consistently demonstrated his inability to understand English before he was banned.
