Sorry if this has been mentioned before..........what's this in the papers about a Lukako chant? Did anyone hear this alledged chant?
The Manure fans were singing the Lukaku song as they moved up the ramp towards the railway bridge........unbelievably stupid and arrogant
I got the impression from the artical that the chant was upsetting Lukaku.....and that Man United were upset and wants to prosecute the offenders. As they have asked the police to investigate. I haven't heard of a particular Lukaku chant before......anyone know of it?
Not the case at all, he was quite happy to have the chant until "Kick it out" decided it was racist. Now he has asked the supporters to move on to another song in the interest of keeping the PC brigade happy.
Ok...... Ta muchly........Why in that case would Manu get so upset about it........? Why not leave it to the PC brigade?
United fans should respect Lukaku and the club's position then, what's the point of continuing to sing it if it is causing embarrassment to them?
From what I heard from some match goers, they changed some of the words yesterday but used the same tune. People hear what they expect to hear I suppose.
Nah, they were singing "We're Man United, we sing what we want" after doing the chant. As Dark Lord said they were singing it after the game up on the bridge, and all the way to the station too (there was even three that got off at Brighton station and started singing it there too).
I have no defence for them, just like the clowns that sing about tragedies. All I can say is I hope it fades away soon.
21 shots, 8 off target, 7 blocked, leaving 6 on target. Vast majority (13) have been taken from outside the box, however, and it's not terribly surprising that he hasn't scored from range...he has only scored one goal from outside the box from 2015-16 on, on a fairly large number of shots. Lot of other shots from acute angles; if he wants to be a prolific shooter, he's going to have to work to better positions, because he tends to go for power rather than curl from angles leaving him very little to aim for.
Not another International break as we need to get some momentum going. Yoshi is right though....as there is a break...even more important to beat Stoke. Full interview with Yoshi. Obviously down after match and says hard to take that Stephens lost out today. Shows that he thinks he had a good partnership with Jack and feels for him. Always going to be hard when someone has stepped up like Jack and then gets pushed out by return of VVD and arrival of Hoedt.* Interesting that Maya remarks on the youth of Hoedt so doesn't sound as enthusiastic as others...perhaps loyalty to Jack (?). *MP2 explained Stephens absence from bench as the need to include Pied because Cedric has a groin problem.
http://www.givemesport.com/1154319-...-vs-southampton-has-been-revealed?autoplay=on According to the Mirror, Mourinho went to the ref's room after the match...probably to ask why he was sent off....as he claims not to know. The article also repeats Mourinho's claim that his players aren't used to playing in the warmth....some are actually taking this seriously (in the same way as the shirt change), but do you know what...I think it was a joke.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/15554159.Stephens_absence_explained/ Tells a slightly different story?
Just want to say Redmond looked so much better when he started knocking it past players in the second half. I said before the game I havent seen him do that this season in his bad run of form. Possibly since last season - against united. If he can continue playing like that then whether its form or tactics i, think he will deserve his place in the team.
