North Korea's top diplomat has called US President Donald Trump's speech to the UN "the sound of a barking dog".

    He's not wrong.

I never liked Hillary--she has the Democratic disease of lacking the courage of her convictions--always liked Bill--who never had any convictions, even though he may have deserved a few--and didn't like Reagan at the time. But Trump certainly makes Reagan shine by comparison. A case in point: beating up on Flyspeck Island didn't seem the most charming thing at the time, but Reagan's penchant for picking tiny places to conquer has it all over W's swallowing the hook, line and sinker the Muslim extremists left out for him. A war over in a couple of days with few killed is a lot less bad than millions of dead in unwinnable wars that do nothing but recruit, train and arm terrorists.

  7. Kim supposedly called Trump 'deranged' yesterday.
Seems quite astute to me! <laugh>

Yes he is, a rabid dog would have been a more appropriate description. One that has lost it totally and unable to show loyalty

Trump has actually improved his standing, percentage wise,by actually doing what a president is expected to do....help the hurricane victims! (I hope!)

I must admit Hillary would be a disaster for the news people and comedians.Every morning they are waiting for Trump's bullcrap tweets so they can laugh or give serious comments to the crap.He doesn't let them down that's for sure!

  15. Looks like Mays much-vaunted speech yesterday didn't exactly have the positive impact hoped for:
UK's credit rating downgraded and Sterling reversed most of the gains seen earlier in the week on the basis of the positive chirping from the government.

Maybe also interesting that the BBC appears to have 'hidden' the bad news from view on their website, whilst keeping a number of Pro-May spin. Shurely, schum, mishtake?? <laugh>

It's obvious that Trump never went to a regular high school, because his latest genius idea is to pick a fight with every single jock in North America.

So what happens first, Trump gets impeached or Trump becomes the first sitting POTUS to get bogwashed?

Wow. I didn't even know that! I haven't been following the news that closely this week, but I have heard quite a lot of the summaries and don't recall that being mentioned in the headlines.

I was just messaging a friend in the US who was at the time watching the NFL game from Wembley. Apparently there was some pronouncement by His Trumpyness that if players disrespect the national anthem as has been done by kneeling through it then they should be sacked. Apparently when the anthem was just played all the players kneeled (they stood through our anthem though!) It's certainly a strong point to make but may alienate some patriotic Americans who would otherwise be sympathetic and anti-Trump, because they get very upset about disrespecting the flag and anthem over there.

  20. Really don't think that will alienate too many to be honest. Most anti-Trumpists have a sufficiently 'bigger picture' view of these issues and understand the players response.
