The fact that he touched the ball is irrelevant, he then clatters Vardy who would have got to the ball if not taken out. It was a foul and a stone wall penalty, not a red though the yellow was correct
I agree with this. Ming should have put his foot through the ball but he shat himself and hesitated (as per)......and as such it was a ridiculously panicky challenge and a penalty (and a yellow card)
What about the foul on keeper for their goal that didn't get mentioned? Every week they highlight ones that should have maybe gone against us but always omit ones we got shafted on. BBC Salford have no conspiracy against us do they lol.
What foul on the keeper? I saw Mignolet pull back Okazaki though..... They talked about the key moments in the game not the paranoid deluded kopite version. You lot live in a ****ing bubble at times
So he wasn't holding migs arm down then for the cross lol. Typical ****e from the resident wums on her as usual.
He was yes.....but Mignolet was pissy weak imo. Have you ever wondered why keepers often stand in position with hands up before set plays are taken? Mignolet should have avoided it. Poor keeping although technically a foul.
Get your point. But we are not discussing how ****e migs is, we already know that. It was a foul regardless of how ****e our keeper is and you just said as much as well. Defence and goalie are based on confidence, if we keep conceding when we shouldn't they will never get confident. What's ****ing Iratating from our resident wums if other way round they would say foul straight away and we didn't deserve to score lol
He was stood with him, Mignolet went over him to try and get to the ball, he wasn't holding him though. Okazaki is about 5ft and a peanut lol. No way that should have been given as a foul on the keeper, not a ****ing chance
I don't agree that it wasn't a foul, it was.... but I do agree that Mignolet should have been stronger regardless.
The salient difference being that he was just useless and I wasn't decrying decisions he made against us, he was just his usual ****e self.
Not completely true this. The ball went away from Vardy. He would never have got to it. The issue was Mignolet clattered into him after winning the ball. Funilly had Minger done the same with his hands there would be no penalty kick discussion.
Agreed. A few misguided people here think that if the player touches the ball then there is no foul. Even if you touch the ball, if the tackle is a foul: from behind, clatters into an opponent , stop him reaching the ball etc then it is a foul and a pen if in the area. Mig was lucky it could have been a red (although a yellow imo is correct). He mishit the ball and stopped Vardy from reaching the ball by clattering into him. It doesn't matter whether it was deliberate or not.
So you should being home team Bournemouth are not good travellers, fear for them this season sadly as don't know if they can get enough points from home games. They play football that is attractive. Hope they stay up.
Or had it been Gomez or Matip getting to the ball first it certainly wouldn't have been given.......why different for a keeper? And you're right, Vardy would never have got to that ball. Matip was close by to sweep up.
