And the Can handball one ... don't forget the fact that the ball's been nailed right at him, try getting out the way quick enough in that situation
Taylor had a shocker. Vardy left his leg out for the free kick that led to corner. Then there’s the foul on our players before Okazaki scored. The penalty was ridiculous as well. Quite surprised not much is made of Vardy’s mastery of the dark arts. Then he holds his head as he goes down. Not that I will complain - I would love a c*nt like that in our team to win free kicks and pens. And Can’s handball - his arm was in a natural position. Short of chopping his arm off, not sure what else he could have done.
We were so much better on Tuesday night, yet we lost that game. Mignolet can feel hard done by with the first goal, Okazaki was molesting his arm. The penalty though is all Mignolets fault, he got to the ball before Vardy, basically missed it and wiped Vardy out. Lovren was pathetic from the first couple minutes, gave away possession constantly and Wijnaldum was typically having one of his crap games. The rest were a disappointing mix with very few highlights.
Only saw highlights. Their first was a foul. I think keepers get a lot of protection but the guy is dragging his arm down... penalty. I can see why it's given. He did win the ball but think more through luck than anything! I'd be disappointed if that wasn't given v us. The free kick that led to the corner was never a foul. Mig had already cleared it by time Vardy has fallen over but was barely any real contact. The Can one was never a pen. Arm down his side and he tried to head the ball. What known was on about I've no idea on either of these pens. A red for Mig and clear pen against Can? He thinks the red for Mig was just because of the tackle, all it was was a shin on thigh tackle, was nothing. Leicester are a horrible team to play and away from home it's a really good win. Not many teams will pick up points there.
We need to not worry about the mistakes the ref made and focus on how we played....how naive we were, how open we were, how poor our passing was at times and how we can't close a game off when in control and how Klopp cannot or will not change our game when in control. Granted the red was poor but he wasn't the only one by far!
Exactly. It's a classic case of cos we won let's sweep the ****e under the carpet then ignore the smell. Well some of us have not gone "nose blind" Terrible disjointed but also really sloppy play. Klopp alluded briefly to playing into Leicester hands post match. I believe he meant playing complete ****e and not passing it to each other. Again... midfield were dross and Leicester high press made cbs especially lovren just kick it away. We needed a midfield general to get in it there. We had Henderson.
Defence nervous, missing midfield and wasteful forwards. I know we get all the plaudits for our attacking style but Leicester had more shots on target than us so all is not well there either!! Let's be honest, any top half team could do the same if they were prepared to totally abandon any balance in the team and accept conceding goals like we do. As a team, we are reckless.
Careless would be how I look at it. We don't seem to ever have the next ball or the out ball in mind. It seems aimless when we clear or play a ball away. We never run a channel really. We knock it about going backwards in our own half then lump it away. It just doesn't feel like defending well or really linking play is in our make up. I do wonder as before klopp would be on the side line talking to them constantly about **** like this.
He played like a small deer caught in headlights that had been chased by a moose with a lukaku sized wang dripping with musk
The foul on Vardy was a definite penalty, the handball less so, as whilst there was a slight movement towards the ball and you see them given every other week, it would have been harsh imo. You lot cry arseing about the referee as per is hilarious btw
Welcome 3 points to arrest the slide or doldrums depending on who you speak to. If we had drawn we couldn't have complained. We were 2-0 and 3-1 up and yet we contrived to put ourselves under pressure. We were an inch from dropping 2 points. Vardy' penalty technique has been rumbled. He just hits the ball as hard as he can and hopes for the best. And in a different game or a different ref, Can's hand would have been given as a penalty. His nodding to the ball saved him. Leicester are such a predictable team and if we are to be serious title or CL contenders then we should have easily coped with them.
