Given I've never given a ratings for our team before.... well I will take that as a saint just wants to have a dig post.

Moreno never blocked a single cross. Job 1 for full back.

Tackled and won the ball on numerous occasions, and supported the attack well, which he has been doing all season. He’s improved a lot. <ok>

Didn't watch the game again today as I was busy trying to get the upstairs of the house finished but got to agree on Moreno from what I've seen <ok>

I don't think he's the dogs bollocks but he is performing much better this season. Combination of (a) a kick up the backside last season, (b) Klopp having time to work with him and (c) Robertson offering direct competition to him

I absolutely hate to see ball after ball coming in. Everything from both sides got in. It was astounding to see us just let ball after ball get past the full back into the box.

It is a big bug bear of mine.

Btw. Compared to Gomez of course Moreno did more going forward and looks better.

But you gotta cut out the bloody ball.

I wonder if klopp is yet considering who his no 1 striker is

Firmino hasn't been all that this season. Sturridge I'm not sure he a really likes.... but...

At some point klopp will have to make some call here.

Ive not seen game so can't comment but given we know how **** we are from crosses etc, rule 1 for full back is always stop the cross and you'd think would be especially important in our team.

No comment on Moreno, but Robertson did that well against them mid week. It's pretty simple to be a defensive full back, keep tight to CB and don't slow the ball in between for winger to run onto and get out to them wide and give yourself a yard to block the cross or not get beaten.

I thought Sturridge made a difference today.

Aaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! ****ing ****ing ****ing ****ing BBC Salford and that nonce Lineker! I listened to 5 live after the game; Robbie Savage and a succession of Leicester fans whimpering about handballs and non sending-offs (funny how they didn't complain on Tuesday when Ford had to take a free kick with a wall six yards away from a similar position he scored from today), but even then, at the end, begrudgingly Savage et al admitted - yes, Mignolet was fouled for the first, and Lovren may well have been fouled for a pen. So, says Lineker for the analysis, let's see the contentious decisions: pen against Can (fair enough) and, says pube-headed Keown, Mignolet would have been sent off anywhere else on the pitch! Bollocks, and, what happened to even an analysis of the foul on Migs (undeniable) and Lovren being dragged back?

MOTD on Can: "there's a motion towards the ball", yes but it's his head moving not his hand <doh>

MOTD on Leicester's first goal being a dive, a foul, and offside: "..."

Keown on Mignolet: "he was lucky the referee actually applied the rules rather than send him off"

"He got a touch on the ball but not enough to clear" - this is never used against defenders

The penalty incident should never have happened anyway. The game should have been stopped when Salah had his shirt pulled as he was trying to play the ball on the touchline.
The ball clearly hit Can's arm, but Keown said he "moved towards the ball". Well, yeah, but he was trying to get his head down to it.

Doesn't really matter whether or not it's a conspiracy, bias, or whatever. It's just dim, considering they're supposed to be experts.

MOTD were absolutely fuming we won

How many minutes of analysis on our "defensive problems" do you think they had to dump?

Probably why there was zero analysis of tactics and instead just Danny Murphy's super slow motion replays of Vardy's eye movements when missing his pen
