Can't complain too much seeing as we came away with three points. I just wish as a team we'd show more composure. 45 + 2 minutes added time, 2-0 up and we're taking risks, playing square balls after the 80th minute. Okay we did hold on to the ball a bit better towards the end, just generally we have it all back to front, 2-0 up the first half and we dropped back and invited the pressure.. Then towards the end of the match we commit men forward.

On the plus side, Sturridge was really sharp when he come on which is encouraging, nice to have that quality to bring on from the bench.

Can't work out if you're being sarcastic or not...

Thought Hendo was awful. Lumped the ball aimlessly up top on so many occasions and there were long periods of the game where we had no control of the ball and players looked all over the shop. Zero leadership apart from shouting at the referee.

That's right, we could have come away with only a point because of the officiating tonight............****ing terrible :headbang:..............then we would have to

One good sign is that the there is now decent(ish) options on the bench unlike for large portions of last season

Thought he was very solid today, breaking up forward movements from Leicester. He typically got a foot in (in his own half) to create the move
for his own goal (brilliant from Sturridge btw). Hendo does so much 'unseen' work for us.

    Liverpool ratings by moto.

Mingolet. 5/10. He did actually deal with a lot in the air but allowed someone pull him before a ball was delivered. Sort it out mate. Get someone over to get rid of him of thump the guy.. He was so dodgy on the ground tonight.

Gomez. 3/10. Skinned constantly. Offered zero going forward. Very poor show.

Moreno. 1/10 for earning a free. He blocked nothing all night. He was pish.

    Lovren 0/10 so dodgy.

Matip. 4/10. Tried his best I suppose.

Winjnaldum. 2/10. Poor on the ball, worse off it. Anonymous.

Can. 4/10. Ran out of steam.

Henderson. Scored so... 4/10. Worthless excuse for a captain. AWOL as per. Blind passes, crosses donkeys in. No positional sense.

Coutinho 6/10. Great free. Marked out of it second half.

    Firmino 4/10. Anonymous.

Salah. 6/10. Went and hid after getting booed. I felt he scored from a very hard angle yet missed an absolute sitter before.

Subs... sturridge. Best of the lot but that is not saying much I suppose given oxo was on and did his usual. Sturridge was actually decent but the others were so gone he lived off scraps.

He was a bit inconsistent at first, but grew into the game. He broke up a lot of their moves and harassed well. The sort of game that goes unnoticed by many who only see the mistakes.

Wins the ball back in dangerous areas half a dozen times a game, he was very important today.

Our trouble is pathetic weak passing to the opposition in our half by the usual suspects and just generally getting in a muddle for no reason.

Lucky today but officials are as much to blame for that - not normally one to whinge about that sort of thing, but there were some awful decisions today... And don't get me started on the clear bias commentators show for their little darling Vardy, dirty little ****er

You know how Salah always seems to be in the right spot in the opposition's penalty area?

Lovren is always in the wrong spot in ours.

3 points and an exciting game to watch.

You lot need to stop moaning. We got same points and GD as united today and scored more goals which is more important in grand scheme of things.

1 game was end to end excitement and action packed, the other had united in their 18 yard box all 2nd half holding on for a defensive 1-0.

I know which is rather be watching on motd tonight <diva>

I agree with Chris Pajak on all the player ratings give or take, apart from Gomez. I've said it before and I'll say it again we have a problem at RB.
Gomez and/or TAA are not ready to fill in there, we need Clyne back asap. I would consider Milner there for the time being.

Wow - what a game. Don’t know whether to laugh or cry! Our attack will have a job on their hands to carry the **** show behind them.

    Will focus on the positives:

    - Moreno was decent again. Don’t care what anyone says, he’s been good this season and he was the best of the back line again. Fight me.

    - Coutinho oozes class. This is why we needed to keep him this year. Mane is back so get Phil in CM and let him run the show.

    - Salah scored again. He misses the usual sitter but the guy has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. And he played a big role in the third goal as he makes the run and drags two defenders away from Hendo. Such an intelligent player.

    - Sturridge. Such a classy player. He came on and brought composure to our attack. Brilliant option to have in our team.

We really had to grind that out - massive 3 points. Let’s get back on track!
