Had to look at the time of your post. For a second I thought it was dated July. <laugh>

**** me we are in big trouble here, far bigger than I think any of us realised.

The club is genuinely in peril here, League 2 is unsustainable. That’s a stand closed, Academy potentially closed, it doesn’t bear thinking about but we are in real ****ing peril.

How many times did we all say about a goal scorer? Someone who can make something happen even when we are off the pace? We had one lined up and Short pulled the plug.

It’s 100% on Short this, it’s reaching the pint now where me thinking ‘we will improve’ is fading.

I thought that last year. Grayson, I’m sorry my defence of him his over, his tactics and ability to change mid game, absolutely awful, way short.

We are in deep ****ing **** here.

Pretty sure we both agreed we’d be mid table mate, we are looking a lot worse than that and there’s no reasoning or excuse.

Even with injuries etc we are putting out teams man for man better and losing. We are shockingly bad.

I said we'd finish lower midtable and that the first half of the season would see us around the relegation zone. I'm sticking to it too.

    • Its looking bad sure enough, but our main lifeline is the poor quality in this league, a bad result today in a close game against a team joint top. A new owner is a top priority, a new manager is not. Four of our best strikers are injured, we have no back up, yet the manager is criticised for fielding a defensive line up, time for some patience here, and see where we are by January before any panic measures.

Ruiter had a decent game. Made a couple of very good saves and couldn't do any thing with the goals. Me thinks someone didn't watch the game

I never imagined we'd be vying for promotion or even challenging for a play-off position. I do remember you saying lower mid-table at the start of the season and hoped you were just being pessimistic. Not bloody Nostradamus!

The lack of criticism for Grayson is laughable.

Yes the budget was **** but he was left with a squad better than most of the league. Kone and Ndong cost a combined £20m that's more than most teams entire starting 11.

The squad we have should be doing far better. Simple fact is he's failing and we look in real danger of going down with him at the helm.

We've played 12 games and nothing is improving he's proving clueless when it comes to tactics, formation and team selection. Cry bad hand all you want, he's been ****e thus far!

Lose the next 2 and Short/Bain have to act.

2 week international break after Preston.

Before people dry 'Who would come'

That unknown fella Leeds appointed in the summer ain't doing bad.

Your basing your assessment on the price paid by us,for these players, a false premise if ever their was one, our recruitment pre Grayson stinks, and is the prime reason for our woes.

I have no defence for Grayson any more personally.

I’m not saying get rid, but I will say he looks clueless tactically and unable to do anything to halt the slide.

We largely overlooked midweek as it was a cup game but we were absolute dross there as well, heartless.

Yes, he’s had a weak hand for a club of our size but his hand is far greater than 15-16 teams in the league. We are 22nd.
