Yes, we do seem to play like a team with a target man and yet the striker we have who seems to me to be most able to play that role (Austin) is the one getting the least time. Odd.
Unlikely to be Boufal as he isn't on the bench. I must say I'm struggling to understand MP's thinking in sticking with Redmond and Tadic who haven't really performed all season, and at the same time not giving Boufal any time to speak of.
I don't think they bring very much at all to be fair. Can't see where a goal is coming from apart from a long hopeful punt from FF through the middle. I'd rather watch paint dry than the Saints..... Sigh
I don't know how did you get that impression; other than the goal, he had a lot of good interventions
I assume that, at some point in the past two seasons, someone accidentally ordered 100 team sheets from the printer that had Redmond and Tadic pre-printed on each, and we haven't wanted to let them go to waste.
Yeah Gabbi for one of Redmond and Tadic for me too. This will either finish 1-1 or 0-3 with the latter being much more likely imo.
If we have a target man why haven't Tadic and Redmond managed to get behind the Man U defence to service Long once this game? I will tell you why, our game plan seems to be play through the middle - with a target man? Don't make me laugh!
Well firstly I didn't say he's been poor or anything like that, I just don't think he's been at his best. The goal obviously stands out and is the most significant thing to have happened in the game so far but he almost got caught out towards the end of the half and his passing hasn't been as good today as it has been in previous games. It may just be because he's not the quickest and Man Utd are frequently looking to break quickly.
We've made a great start to the second half. Pressing them and looking a bit more dangerous going forward... So what minute do they make it two?
