Hoedt has to do better there, but other than that detail, it was a very good half from our part. We limited United to a few chances a are actually playing a bit faster in the build up, but they are just damn good defensively, you got to admit that. Don't know what's the point of Redmond really, I reckon Sam Mcqueen would be more effective than him. If only Pellegrino would come to idea to take off Redmond and bring Gabiadini
From a media perspective, the one thing I can't stand about any Saints game involving ManU is that inevitably it is Saints that are the opposition and don't get talked about. One might as well turn off the sound.
Don't think Hoedt has been at his best this half. Hard to say too much because it took a while to find a non-buffering stream. Was half-expecting a real beating today though so 0-1 isn't too bad.
Long almost seems to be playing as a target man today, trying to hold the ball up rather than get in behind. not sure if thats the tactic or he has no belief we can actually get a ball in behind... I still believe the team would benefit from a proper targetman if this is how we are going to play.
seems easy to me. Bring VVD on so the defence don't get tired and concede 3 in the last 8 minutes. Bring Charlie and Gabbi on so we score 2. Simple.
