I've seen people praising Oliver's handling of the match, which is baffling. Noble was clatter-happy all afternoon yet not only never got booked but somehow got free kicks, and Hernandez should've been booked earlier than he was as he was a niggly little bastard all game. If Oliver actually had a good game he'd have clamped down on the pair of them a lot earlier (or at all in Noble's case)
Other than giving away a late freekick, Davies had another really good game - just surprised that he was often left on Carroll..... something of a mismatch and could have proved costly. But overlooking Dele's general form by quoting his season stats is a mistake. He got 2 assists today but in truth it was 1 as the 2nd was a missed chance. The cross for Kane was pretty much his only positive contribution and his selfishness at the end was poor. Needs a very hard kick up the arse with pointed shoes!! He's too talented a player for his current level of performance to be acceptable.
Yeah, he can. But for the goals and assists, there’s been some really poor lacklustre performances. It’s a team game, and the team seem to be carrying him at the moment. He’s certainly not justifying his place in the team, IMO.
Dele hasnt been great so far this season for sure but every game so far this season he seems to either score or assist. I think we have got used to how good he is and expect greatness all the time.
Only saw about 30 mins of the second half. Aurier needs a brain to go with his undoubted talent. Lunging in like that from behind, in that part of the pitch, when you're already on a yellow, is just brainless. And why did we sit so deep after going down to 10? It just invites them to launch long balls into Carroll and co. It's a result and I'll take it. But we really need to learn to defend better against that kind of aerial assault. Just good decision making over his passing, not being so slow on the ball, not overdoing the flicks and tricks, and a better first touch would do nicely. He’s more than capable of that, despite his goals and assists.

You have missed the days gone by where RCL used to put something negative about spurs, and moments later we’d score. It happened so frequently that now he just spouts negative stuff all the time in the hope he can help the team score. He’s only joking.
