The rumour game from Italian fansites reporting that people had said they'd seen him in Southampton. His agent then denied that Erik had been in Southampton (Or Portsmouth for that matter) when the 'sightings' happened. Anyway, its done now, he's signed for us, and he's a jolly good bargain for £1.5 million.
You can't say he's a bargain until he proves that he's good. Lambert was a relative bargain at 1million, as he's scored 53 goals in League One for us in two seasons, and already has 2 in three this season.
I've seen him play- he's worth more than £1.5 million IMO. His agent said he was in Italy at the time

Just watched a clip on Youtube. It showed more misses than actual goal. Hence the one goal every 4+ games in his career! Not going to lose sleep over this guy!
