Mate, I just want to say, in all seriousness, that I applaud the fact that despite your past, you can still imbibe drink and other drugs. I have never subscribed to the bullshit notion that an ex drug addict or alcoholic can NEVER touch any intoxicating substance ever again, because it will inevitably make them spiral into....yadda yadda. For me, if you are an alcoholic, and you go tee total, you have accomplished nothing, you have beaten nothing, you are just hiding from it. Its like trying to cure an ingrown toe nail by cutting off your foot. To my mind, you only beat the illness when you take back control And I personally know it is possible, you just need will power and not to be a snivelling coward in pity for yourself. So kudos mate.
