Oh Christ lol... tell me they are at least light...because at that price they aren't waterproof or breathable unless you lucked out!
**** knows, find out when I pick them up from post office on Saturday Theyll be worn once so wasn't spending much on them! To be fair had decent review on amazon, 4/5 star
Please please go pay 14 quid for the best socks...50km? Week old boots? Tbf some people are prone to blistering some aren't... you'll be testing that theory though... 1 week to break them in lol
Yup, not far. It's a planned trek for charity. 15 miles each day in Peak District. Prob take about 6 ish hours we reckon although we're self navigating so might take bit longer as wel prob get lost
I didn't £40 on mine and only intended on wearing them once. Should have been about £70 but had bonus credit on catelogue and a voucher
I got 2 pairs of hiking socks for £9 and I'll wear normal socks underneath as well. Just getting link link to my boots.
Did you read the worst reviews first...always read the worst reviews first...half the high reviews on Amazon state ...."given free to test" lol
15miles at a decent pace would take about 3-4 hrs plus breaks. Taking it steady would be about 4-5 hrs
Don't wear the other socks.. .if you bought even cheap hiking socks they are designed to be wickable and reduce chance of blisters... adding socks that aren't designed to do it will negate that... like wearing a breathable t-shirt and putting a cotton one under it......wet
I bought a running top rather than a hiking top too, much lighter and thinner. Quint be too cold at this time of year so really depends on personal preference
