where is the Hash man? Great result for 10 man Cork City again to stay in touch at the top of the first division beating Mervue United 2-1. Meanwhile the Candystripes stay on top of the Premier league beating the Gypsies 0-1 with a goal from Pat McEleney.
Is this football you're talking about? As in association football. Do you support an English/Scottish team Rebel?
There isn't an LOI forum and there is no place else to put it. There may be other LOI fans on here who may wish to comment on their teams relative merits.
You see, I'm Scottish and have absolutely no interest in teams outwith my country. So why does an Irishman declare his primary support for a Scottish team? Cue some **** about heritage, blah dee blah
So what are you, your local team, Cork, or a team from another country? I can't imagine people from say, Barcelona supporting Bayern Munich?
Fair enough, not really bothered either way, just felt the thread was more of a direct message to Hash.
Well shouldn't they be "your" team then? They are, after all, your local team? As opposed to you stating that you're a "Celtic man"; a team who play in another country? Like I said, can't see a Barca based local supporting Bayern Munich?
He is usually on being chirpy after a good result for the Rebel Army, that usually sparks a chat about the other scores of a Friday evening.
I am not from here, I do go and watch them fairly regularly. I probably give them more money than I do Celtic over the course of a season.
No Scottish team, Stam? (I'm thinking you probably love Aberdeen a very great deal. You'd be a fool not to, frankly.)
Dunno really, nothing to do with family or anything like that. I suppose its because when I was a kid Liverpool were always on the TV, and as none of my immediate family were interested in football I never went to watch any local teams play football. I hope you don't think less of me
