What the hell is wrong with the guy, is he having an affair with the media at the moment?
Last week he decided to 'break his silence' & tell the world how he had made an inquirey for Rickie Lambert in the close season. He went on to tell the world how Saints had also made bids for players that Ipswich were looking at.
Today he's decided to moan to the press about Leeds going back on a 'promise' to sign Priskin.
"Its disappointing, for Tamas & us." He cried.
Jewell also took time out to tell everyone how Ipswich are after Jimmy Bullard, who's currently having issues at Hull.
"He says he's got a couple of Premier League teams that are showing interest.
But I told him I am very keen and he said he will consider us," He gushed.

He certainly seems to be enjoying the attention, but with his odds being slashed as the 1st manager casualty of the Championship, who can blame him.

    Me. Get some dignity man.

I used to think he was a good manager, a man who could get a group of players pulling in the right direction. A man who stood by his decisions. So, even before the game with us, hearing him telling the media little stories that were from the boardroom was disappointing. But since then, I keep seeing him doing his business in the press. Why? You hardly benefit from it, why not just get on with things quietly. Its not just the players I've mentioned, theres that Stoke lad as well.
Maybe he should put more effort into his own staff & worry less about outside influences. Just a thought.

Got nothing against ITfc, always been a good family club in my eyes, but Paul just seems to be losing the plot somewhat.
If I was on the wind-up I surely would have posted something along the lines of 5-2.
    Anyway, good luck with him.

No I agree, I think it's down to frustration but I think it's getting the better of his professionalism at the moment.

HistoryRepeating, he's in a dream world. Tried to get Billy Sharp and James Coppinger from us for peanuts, building up the hopes of the Ipswich fans that they would be easy to get as we were desperate for the money. He didn't realise our board are worth a hell of a lot more than his and we don't need to sell them as you also found out. He didn't leave it at that, the idiot puts a few quid more on the offer and thinks that would get them.
After that he goes and gets an idle lump from Arsenal that even little Donny didn't want. He does it all for attention, he did the same at Derby and they had the sense to get rid of him but they like him in Sulfolk for some reason.

" Tried to get Billy Sharp and James Coppinger from us for peanuts "

Peanuts - or a player out with a broken leg ?

£2.5 mill was a fair price for Sharp. Your loss not taking it. I'd personally rather have a bag of roasted peanuts than have missed out on the cash and be stuck with his wages

Baffled by the response of Town fans here. Two people make valid points with not a hint of WUMery and get a load of muck thrown at them. Bad news.
