LittleDinosaurLuke, the poster that you quoted before you edited your comment, is a Man Utd fan.
You reacted to something that he said and attacked Spurs.

Football didn't start when the PL began <doh>

Out of interest how many times you won the league?

Hit a nerve with my last comment did I? <laugh>

So why did you quote it, before going on to rant about Spurs, then?
Your making yourself look even more stupid with this ridiculous attempt to get out of it.

What's the big deal with swearing?

    Are you still a child?

We finished one place below you - considering it was one of our worst ever years and one of your best ever years says it all really <laugh>

Why haven't you strengthened this year, you clearly need to? Simple question.

Ah that question - I was about to reply to the quote and changed my mind but didn't delete the quote.

    Bit obvious isn't it <doh>

And why does such a minor detail matter? Clutching at straws aren't you <laugh>

no they don't, but i'm sure the revenue is a lot higher from tv rights and tournament payout. Anyway, enough about them (since my 'arry question went unanswered) how do u think you're lining up against us then?

How on earth is it obvious? <laugh>

Why are Liverpool spending loads of money on average players, by the way?
Your wage bill was already far too high, so I dread to think what it is now.

    New Leeds?

We got 50 mil for a ****e past it striker - 35mil was loose change.

Diarra is past it - no big team wants him anymore and remember he is a Portsmouth reject <laugh>

Modric is off because he wants to win things and has ambition... Spurs are another peaked club that wont last the distance.

At least we've got ambition and we've got money to spend <laugh>

What are Spurs plans? Hope for the best with a team of players that won't hang around if it doesn't come off!

You don't have it to spend though Skylarker, that's the point.
No European football, loads of players on your books that you don't want, enormous wage bill and a bunch of mediocre signings?
Yeah, that'll win you the title.

As it stands, Spurs have sold a couple of players that weren't needed and brought in a back-up keeper.
The main difference to our league position could well come down to the fact that we won't have the fatiguing effects of the Champions League this season.
Redknapp misjudged his use of the squad last time out, so that our key players were burnt out towards the end.
He won't be picking a strong side in the Europa League, so that shouldn't happen again and our squad players should all be getting regular run outs, if we progress.
If we bring in Diarra and Adebayor, as has been suggested in the media, then I'd say that we'd have a stronger first XI than we did last season, too.

i suppose, but tbh smalling was and is fantastic cover. Phil jones has also been playing regular 1st team football for a bit so its not like promoting from the reserves. Evra should be back aswell and evans seems to have regained form. Hope de gea goes through a game with no errors, just for the lads confidence.

    Should be a good, free-flowing game <ok>

Europa league will give your inexperienced manager the same problem <ok>

the 2 players you mention are on their decline. We're shifting our deadwood as we speak so our wage bill will be easily affordable <ok>
