Most of the time HIAG's ******ed behaviour is fairly tiresome, but the bullshit stories that he digs a hole for himself with are funny and he's only ever a small nudge away from thermonuclear meltdown. So there's always an incentive to bait him

Skiddy didn't wind me up; he annoyed me. That's the difference. He was in the habit of writing pointless crap in reply to every single one of my posts. You have someone do that to you, and see how quickly it gets annoying. It starts off being amusing that someone that stupid can be so rattled by what you say that they feel compelled - OCD-like - to respond to every single one of your posts, but eventually it becomes tiresome continually wading through their banal one-liners and lazily posted gifs in order to get to the real and intelligent comments. Skiddy's comments were of the base "your mum smells!" variety, devoid of any football commentary, any wit, or any intelligence. They were the forum equivalent of nits. If you become infected by nits, you tend to find them annoying - it would be conceptually wrong to claim that the nits wind you up, since nits are too lacking in intelligence be anything other than annoying. When you get infected with nits, you can take simple measures to have the annoyance removed. They are pests, nothing more, but pests that are easily dealt with. I have no way of knowing if Skiddy continues to respond to my posts. I suspect that he does, because I can see blanked-out posts following most (if not all) of my posts, and since Skiddy is the only one I have on IGNORE it has to be him. It genuinely makes a clear statement about the idiocy of someone who persists in responding to a poster whom they know can neither see what they are writing nor cares! One has to assume that Skiddy is immensely rattled and wound up by the fact that I ignore his twattery, and by the knowledge that I always will!
Oh, dear! What a banal comment, Bambi! If your comments were as prolific as Skiddy's, they'd be the equivalent of nits, too (albeit that they'd be nits living in the hairs in my ass-crack, since your comments do have the tendency to make my arse itch, mate).
