Is anyone else suprised how well he has done at Fulham considering his performances for us?

Just thought about this after seeing he has got a contract extension

    Isn't he Damien's brother?<whistle>

Yeah, I am surprised after his time here, but not surpirsed after his performances for Blackburn and Chelsea before we got him. He seemed a great player then, but we knida ruined him for a bit.

He celebrated like he'd won the World Cup when he scored against us, the little ****.

Supposedly Mourinho said his best days were behind him at that point.

It's funny that after 3/4 seasons he was constantly injured then to join Fulham and pretty much be a ever present... hmm<whistle>

Clearly our physio staff did all the hard work and along comes Fulham and puts the cherry on the icing

Surely there must be something wrong with our physios? We also have crocked players.

A remember a league cup game against Wigan a few years back when there was rumours Shearer would be playing centre-back because we had so many injuries.

Agree with that, he was nothing more than mediocre here, I couldn't bear the dramatics from him to be honest. It does get my goat though (if it's true) how many wags don't want their partners to come to the NE of the counry.
